"Admiral!" Alerted one of the ensigns located at the communication station. Admiral Piett turned to face the young man.

"Yes?"

"Sir, a shuttle has dropped out of hyperspace and has transmitted high clearance codes." The way he said, Thane observed, told them all that the codes were extremely high. Enough to instill fear into the man. Admiral Piett leaned over the ensigns shoulder to take a look at the codes and noticably blanched.

"Admiral?" General Veers inquired.

"It appears that the Emperor is coming." Piett answered after straightening, a noticeable frown on his face. "Commander, have a legion of troopers report to Hanger 12 for the arrival of the Emperor."

"Yes, Admiral." Commander Gherent replied and left to follow his orders.

Thane glanced at General Veers and Admiral Piett. [i]Something is not right[/i]. He felt and rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Admiral, I thought we could not be found?"

"Yes." Piett nodded, not understanding where Thane is going.

"Then how can the Emperor know where we are?" Thane said and lowered his arm to his side. He cocked his head slightly and glanced at the data running across the screens of ComScan. "And shouldn't the Emperor have an escort so close to enemy space? Especially when Lord Vader could easily ambush him if he was aware of the Emperor's arrival?"

General Veers nods in agreement and Piett took a moment to consider what Thane said. "What are you suggesting, Major? That this is not the Emperor?"

"I suspect that it is not the Emperor." Thane replied. "His Imperial Majesty would not be so foolish to risk his life to come here and furthermore why is he coming here if he is? Normally, doesn't he alert the ship he's coming to of his arrival via encrypted communications?"

"What if you are incorrect in this conclusion, Major? What if whoever is aboard the shuttle is the Emperor?" Veers countered and added. "He will be most displeased if we turn him down."

"Then we let the shuttle land just in case and we continue with the charade as if it really was the Emperor." Major Thane suggested. "If whoever is aboard the shuttle is not the Emperor will think we believe it is the case. But in reality will be ready to react to whatever they have planned."

Admiral Piett remained silent to consider the conversation over in his mind. The evidence was there and the Major was certainly correct in his conclusions. Piett sighed in frustration and fear. Thane knew he had reasons to feel that way, he was feeling it the same himself.

"Very well. We will continue with the charade, for your sake Major I hope you are wrong." Piett said at last.

"I hope so myself."

"I'll remain here to coordinate our troops should the Major be correct. Whoever it is must want to do something to the [i]Executor[/i] or take over the [i]Executor[/i]." General Veers stated. "Besides, I and this damn chair would only get in the way."

Both Admiral Piett and Major Thane nodded in agreement, though not in agreement with the chair thing. Neither man would want to insult the General in any way.

"Major, you are with me and will be corridnating the troops." Piett commanded as they walked out of the bridge for Hanger 12.

Minutes later just before the shuttle was about to enter the Hanger, Admiral Piett and Major Thane stood at the back of the rows of stormtroopers still filing in. There wasn't much time to alert the stormtroopers so Major Thane opted to inform the commanders of each squadron.

"Stay alert. We have reasons to suspect that this is not what it seems. I want you and your men to move at the first signs of danger." Thane commanded and one of the troopers cocked his head in confusion.

"Is the Emperor in any way in danger?"

Thane shook his head at the trooper. "We have reason to believe that this is not the Emperor. We are continuing the char

 

The fight had just begain. A female sith looked up. "Watch out" she yelled as she dove for Vader pushing him down just as a turrent destroyed both ships. Vader jumped up. Luke threw his saber at one of the turrents and it came crashing down. Mot did the same to the other one. The Sith had taken over the hanger, when a blast door opened.

"Lord Vader, you've been replaced" said a deep voice. The voice had came from a bald man, with a strip of leather accross his eyes and lines funning from his lips.

"Jerec" Vader said.

 

WTF? Dude the fight did not begin! Quit posting my kriffing actions and let me kriffing respond!

Now, start over back to the part where the shuttle ramp lowered. Do this again and you lose a player.

 

Wah?...

 

Listen...you transmitted the codes but you failed to provide the illusion to validate those codes. My forces saw through your deception and prepared to see whether it is a deception or not. Right now, they are suspicious and continuing the charade that we are unaware of your intentions.

Basically we look like we're ready to greet the Emperor.

Your shuttle has landed in Hanger 12 and are unaware of our knowledge and suspicions. The most you can get is a growing sense of danger in the back of your minds.

"I have a bad feeling about this" is a good line to use to make your characters more alert.

So far, you have set up a trap for me and I set up a trap for you. Neither party is aware of what each others traps are and assume each other party is playing to their tune.

I posted the lowering of the ramp for you to reveal your trap and have the first attack. Alright? Now post your first attack, I'll respond in kind and post my attack. Then you respond and post your next attack and so on.

If you want to know my defenses which you can see through the shuttle cockpit its this.

1 Legion of Stormtroopers (see ROTJ for an idea)
20 Naval Troopers (Guarding the Blast Doors)

The defenses you cant see are:

and my reserves which I will not name yet.

Right now you have the advantage. I don't know In Character, what your forces are. I don't know that Lord Vader is there with several Dark Jedi or that you have troopers with you. All I know is the knawing suspicion that you aren't who you claim to be.

Btw, a shuttle can only hold so many people. I think about 10 to 20 at the max. Good luck in trying to retake the Executor.

IC:

Vaders Breathing grew heaver as his ship landed in the bay.

"I sence a great disterbance in the Force" Vader said.Mot also felt it but he kept quite. He had his saber ,upside down as usual, in his had ready to attack. The ramp lowered. Vader charged in as did the other 20 or so sith on the ship. Mot wasn't paying attention to the others he opened his saber and cut the head of a stromtrooper. Several blaster bolts came at him, he blocked them all with ease and sent them back at the attackers.

 

OOC: You still are, but it doesn't give you the privilege to God Mode. And thank you for Role Playing Mortal Mode.

IC as Major Thane

Hanger 12

He had been right and wished he hadn't. When he hadn't seen the Royal Guards step out and saw dark booted feet and a dark figure with a blazing red lightsaber run out of the shuttle, he knew he had been correct in his assumption about the passengers of the shuttle.

He just did not expect it to be nothing but Force-Users.

"All troops, heavy covering fire and retreat toward the exits!" Thane called, dragging Admiral Piett away from the assaulting Sith warriors and toward the turbolift. He shoved the Admiral into the lift.

"Thane!" Piett cried as he scrambled back to his feet.

"No time to talk. Get back to the bridge and tell the General what's going on. I'm gonna need more troopers and heavy armor!" Thane nearly yelled at Piett. The Major stamped in the keys to send Piett back to the bridge and locked down the lift by destroying the recall controls with a shot from his blaster.

He turned around to face the carnage he was expecting. His troopers were retreating and the Sith were destroying them one by one. But it was a slow process. His men were firing everything they had.

Then emerald green energy bolts whizzed through the air at the shuttle, destroying it and sending burning shards everywhere. The Anti-Intruder turrents then turned on the Sith warriors.

Thane retreated to a blast door and pulled out his comlink. "Troopers, form up into large pockets and continue with heavy blaster fire and retreat to the corridors. Do not allow Lord Vader and his men into the corridors! I repeat do not allow Lord Vader and his men into the corridors! Keep them in the hanger!"

The legion of stormtroopers were reduced to half the size by the time the Imperials formed up into pockets and began backing out through the two main blast doors that led into the hanger. They poured concentrated blaster fire on the Sith along with the emerald energy bolts from the ceiling turrents.

Mot suddenly felt a disterbance in the Force as he dove for cover as the ship they came in exploded. Anouther Sith ship landed, out poured Red and Balck sith troops.

Luke saw the turrents on the roof. He closed his saber and jumped to the roof hanging on the the turrent barrels. He pulled out his saber and jamed it into the turrent. He then jumped down just in time to block several balster bolts.

Mot was taking care of some of the left over troops as the Sith Troop ship landed. He then saw a uniformed man waiting on a blast door to open. He made his way over to him.

 

Bespin system

A distance away from the planet Bespin, Vice Admiral Matelle's taskgroup emerged out of hyperspace. They were in two groups, one Imperial-class Star Destroyers flanked by two Victory-class Star Destroyers who were closely followed by Lancer cruisers.

"Admiral Riigard," Jarek called out the other Admiral of the taskgroup. "I want you to seperate from my group and try to maintain geosychronous orbit over Cloud City. I will annihilate their shipyard. Destroy any opposition."

"Of course," the Rear Admiral cooly replied. "Launch fighters. I want them to escort us," he ordered his officers. Jarek did the same.

TAG people of Bespin

 

Thane saw one turrent explode and stepped back further into the corridor as he noticed a Sith approach in his direction. "Captain, direct one of the turrents toward a Sith approaching a blast door and fire!" He ordered through the comlink.

Seconds later one of the remaining three turrents fired on the Sith, distracting him.

Thane felt a twinge of remorse as he realized what he must do. "Close the blast doors! Close the blast doors!"

"But sir, what about the others!" Protested a trooper near him as he fired into the hanger along with the others.

"They die or we all die!" Thane argued as the blast doors began to close. "Captain, concentrate on anyone near the blast doors, I don't want anyone getting through!"

Yes, Major, sir! Came the Captain at the turrents in the Hanger Control room a level above Thane. Green laser bolts impacted into the ebony flooring of the hanger, blocking the path of the Sith and their troopers.

The blast doors are nearly closed and desperate stormtroopers try to climb through before they seal completely, blocking the way for others to get through as well.

 

bespin

The wind screamed over the abanoded planet.
The entire sith army was busy taking back the Executor.

The Executor

The doors closed in front of Mot. He jammed his red saber into the door, melting the metal.

A female sith threw her saber to one of the turrents. It exploded. She didn't have her saber back in time to block several bolts and she fell to the floor.

 

Thats gonna take you awhile. You'll be dead long before you get through.

Thane sighed in relief as the blast doors sealed shut. He then talked into his comlink. "Thane to bridge. Depressurize Hanger 12."

Yes, sir. Replied someone in the bridge.

Inside the Hanger, the remaining stormtroopers stop what they are doing as they feel their ears pop and the air getting harder to breathe. They realize what is happening and begin banging on the blast doors to be let out. Some of the troopers continue to fire on the Sith.

The two remaining turrents still fired on the Sith. One turrent momentarily turned on the new shuttle to destroy it.

Thane cringes regretfully as he listens to the cries and pleas for help from the trapped troopers. "I'm sorry, but its the only way." He whispers and then speaks into his comlink again as he sees the blast door in front of him turning orange.

"I need six AT-PTs brought to Hanger 12 immediately. I also want heavy armored stormtroopers with E-webs and Heavy Blaster Rifles brought down here now!" In fifteen minutes his reinforcements will have arrived.

In less than five minutes anyone not wearing an environment suit would have died inside the hanger due to the lack of heat, pressure, and oxygen. The only one Thane knew could survive the depressurization of the Hanger was Lord Darth Vader. His suit was built to survive in deep space.

 

OOC: Is there anything on bespin?

I think I pretty much wiped out the Sith Empire in Hanger 12. Lol!

EDIT: Goo_Child, I'm willing to allow you to steal a shuttle or some kind of transport in Hanger 12 to escape with Lord Vader, Luke Skywalker and the other Sith Player for the sake of this RP. Everything else dies.

Just next time, don't try and take my ship again.

 

OOC:A few workers at the ship yard and the ship yard itself are the only things left on Bespin.

Ic:

"Draining out the air, how origional" Luke said. The sith knew this would happen. They all had brought a mouth piece that could provide air for 2 hours before being replaced, and they brought replacments. Luke put his in his mouth.

Mot had stopped to put his breather in. Then he starting back at the door.

A Twi'lek sith, the only non-human in the sith army, watched as the Imperials died around him. He saw one of the two turrents left and shot lightning at it.

Luke ran up to Mot and started helping with the door.

 

Bespin

"Seems empty Jarek," Admiral Riigard claimed.

"Yes," was Jarek's only reply. The Sith were bigger cowards than he thought. "I don't know. Just destroy Cloud City for good measure. I'll take out the shipyard."

"Right," the other Admiral replied. "Aim all guns at the city and pound it to dust." The guns of his group aimed to the city and fired a steady stream of turbolasers. The city was soon reduced to rubble that fell into the core of the planet.

Meanwhile, the Titan's Fury and headed it's group launched a volley of torpedos at the shipyard. They soon fired with their turbolasers. The shipyard didn't last long.

An Imperial transport then landed on a city to search for anything.
