Flute for 2 years, piano 5 years and guitar 2½ years.

 

trumpet 1 year, piano 1 year, clarinet 4 years, bass clarinet 2 years, bari sax 1 year...

 

Guitar . . . for a long long time!

 

I started with the piano about nine years ago and seven years ago with the french horn.

 

Trombone- 8 years, piano (self-teaching)- about a week

 

Yay! Music people!

I play the French horn in Wind Ensemble and MELLOPHONE!!!! for marching. This is my first year playing both, as I played flute for 6 years from elementary school through 9th grade.

I love playing the mello...it's just so...FUN!
It's cool that there are so many other horn and mello players here!

 

Tickling the ivory for 8 years...

 

I play the French Horn (Horn in F) for 5 years, and still going strong!,there is no more beautiful sounding, yet least effective instrument.

 

Played Cornet and Trumpet for 25 yrs

 

I'm only in my secodn year in band, but I love playing STar Wars music. I play the drums and the alto saxomahone.

 

I play double bass...I used to play violin but I didn't really like it. In orchestra, I feel a lot more useful on the bass than on the violin. Plus the imperial march sounds better on bass.

I remember when I was first learning bass I could only read treble clef so I was playing SW music out of my violin book but never got it right. Now I have this thing where I can't read bass clef when I've got my violin and I can't read treble clef with my bass.

 

I play keyboard and a litle guitar. Have played for some time but don't know to much SW-music; know the beginning of imperial march and the main theme. I've tried, but I can neither figure out the rest by myself or find the rest of them anywhere, most annoying.

 

I've played piano for 10 years, trombone for 6 years, alto for about 1 year (a long time ago, I don't play it anymore [down with woodwinds!]), I played trumpet for about 2 years, and I'm currently attempting to teach myself cello, since I'll need some knowledge of strings for college.

 

I have played the trombone for about 3-4 years now, I'm somewhere in between. But don't let the years fool you, I'm not that bad(I don't mean to gloat but I have picked up quickly). I also can play the bass guitar somewhat and I have some knowledge on the bagpipes. My dream is to buy a nice bass trombone and perfect my trombone skills on that cause bass trombone rocks.

 

I've started playing electric guitar few months ago. It's my favourite instrument.

 

I played trumpet for seven years. I was in concert band for all seven, but marching band for six. But I couldn't play it now if my life depended on it. It's going on four years since I've played my trumpet.

 

I play the cello and learning the guitar

 

I play harp.

This is the most expensive harp I've found yet.

 

I play saxophone, and in band right now we are playing a piece called "John Williams: Movie Adventures." It contains the Star Wars main theme, Duel of the Fates, and Jurassic Park, and ET.

 

Viola for 5 years now.

 

Bass Guitar. I really want to learn the Violin, but lessons are expensive in my area

 

I can play almost every brass instrument, but primarily the tenor trombone.

 

I play Bass Guitar but haven't had much time to play lately I have been picking up piano again, though. I took lessons for 5 years. Now I'm teaching myself on Ben Folds songs
