What instrument do YOU play? - OFFICIAL THREAD

I play piano and french horn, mostly. (I play mellophone in marching band, but that's pretty much a trumpet that sounds like a french horn, so it's close enough to be considered as one.)

I also know a little guitar and can play the recorder fairly well.

(Hey...you know what? Ewan McGregor plays french horn...that means I have something in common with someone in Star Wars! Yay...)

well even though my primary instrument is Tuba i also know some French Horn

 

I play clarinet fluently and am looking to begin piano lessons.

Ultimate dream: I would love to play StarWars in an orchestra conducted by John Williams. What a thrill that would be!

i would like to say i play the piano but the day i play chopin's etudes, gaspard de la nuit, and the goldberg variations for a recital withouth breaking a sweat is the day i will call myself a pianist lol

Off topic, I recenty recorded a bit for an upcoming fanfilm, and as usual, it sounds a bit too familiar. I have no idea where the theme came from though (besides the depths of my own, usually empty, cranium). Does anyone want to take a listen, is there a specific thread for this, or should I post a new topic?

 

I play bass guitar (I've a Gibson Thunderbird and a Curbow), clarinet and piano. Additionally, I have a tiny orange plastic guitar that I bought at wal-mart for eighty-eight cents--I play that too.

I learnt piano for around eight or nine years, but I gave it up early this year. I started learning oboe at the beginning of the last year; I love it as an instrument, but it's hard to play and I'm not all that great. I wish I could find a cor anglais, I'd happily learn that...

 

I've played piano for 6 years, viola for 4 years, trombone for 1.5 years (although it's just something I do to have fun, I don't practice or anything), and I started singing this summer.

I've been playing cello for the last eleven years, double bass for the last seven, and I'm going to learn either clarinet or trumpet next year, to fulfill a B.A. in Music Comp. at the University of Idaho. And I've been working on improving my singing just so I don't look so dumb when I sing parts for people...

 

Since I haven't posted here in a few years, I'll add the Ukulele to my list:

I'm not very good, but I know (very) little on the piano, guitar, flute, and some on the drums.

 

I've been playing the trumpet for 10 years. I was in marching, pep, jazz and symphonic band in high school, and now I play in a local community band.

 

Im all about the Brass Instruments!

Ive played Trombone (11 years)
Trumpet and Baritone (1 year apiece)
and tried to play tuba (very hard)

IVe been in Wind Symphony, COncert Band, Jazz Band,and MArching Band in High school and MArching and Concert in College now I do alot of instructing.

 

Orgel and Piano. But I finished conservatory doing classical singing.

 

Guitar Bass a little drums ,and keys, but I would love to play the Violin!
