    I've been playing guitar for 18 years. I played piano for about two years, but I lost interest in it. I need to pick it up again. But the guitar always provides me with endless facination.

    Trumpet, guitar (bass, electric, and acoustic), drums (set, and all marching drums), lap harp, french horn, tuba, trombone, piano, alto sax, tenor sax, Baritone, banjo, harmonica, flute, clarinet, and a CD Player...

    I have played (not good) the violin, baritone, cello...

    I don't know if they count as instruments, but I can also "play" the turn tables, and drum machine...

    I can play the Sax, currently playing Alto, but I prefer the Tenor, since it's not as difficult as Alto but isn't as boring as Bari Sax.

    I also have a friend who plays piano, really well, he practices like 6 hours a day, currently he is preparing for the Van Cliburn (I think that's how you spell it, probably wrong) competition in 2009, where there are like millions of people entering.

    My main instrument is the alto saxophone, but I also did play tenor and the baritone saxes at one point in time. I've played for nine years now. I played all throughout high school and now I enjoy playing in a local community band!:)

    Dear me, I had no idea this thread was still alive! :eek: :)

    Then again, I haven't been to this forum for a loooong time... :p

    Anyway, to get on topic... I've played piano for 17 years (took piano classes for 12 years... :oops:) and guitar for about 12 (self-learner). Though only acoustic, I haven't tried playing electric guitar yet. And for the past 2 years I've been trying to play flute and whistle. :p

    EDIT: Oh yeah, and I also "play on other people's nerves", as we say here... :p 8-}

    My main instrument is the Alto Saxaphone, although I can play all the other types of Saxaphone pretty well. The instrument that I would really like to learn is the French Horn because it has the most beautiful sound in the orchestra.

    Piano: 11+ years
    Guitar: 5 years

    Does composing count as playing an instrument? Because then I can play an orchestra!

    Trumpet, which is my first love [face_love] , drums and a "little" bit of guitar. Had it not been for band class, I would have dropped out of high school.
