    Affleck seems to be a Alex Rodriguez type figure in Hollywood: someone who provokes a lot of talk, debate, etc., despite having a questionable career. It would be too easy to discuss his clunkers, so why discuss his good* roles?



    *For some, I'm sure that would be a matter of debate as well. :p

    George Reeves in "Hollywoodland". This was my first exposure to him outside of Kevin Smith and other films where he's a goofball. I liked "Argo", but this is the film that comes to mind when I think of Affleck in a serious role.

    Still not sure what to make of Batfleck though.

    i'll never understand the praise he gets for chasing amy. he's consistently terrible in kevin smith films, as is everyone else in kevin smith films.
