San Diego, CA What is Everyone Doing For Labor Day Weekend?

Me? Not much. Staying around the house supervising the work going on with the pool and the other contruction going on. I might see a few movies with the kiddos, that is about it. Anyone know of anything fun going on this weekend?

Sat- working
Sun- having Road Runner installed WEEEEEEEEeeeeeee!
Monday....WORKING a 9 hour shift by MYSELF ....kinda defeats the purpose of Labor Day now doesn't it......

Watching Notre Dame kick the crap out of Maryland, I hope. But because we're not a state school, we have classes on Labor Day.

 

I'm seeing AOTC on Monday (11th time)! Anyone want to go? I hate seeing movies by myself.

 

Tonight...working and bar hopping in La Mesa

Sat...working for like 10 hours (but it's my last big day at the company I work for. Yay new job!)

Sun...nothing because the girl I have been seeing did not invite me to her 24 birthday celebration because her friends hate me :-(

Monday...I have no idea yet. Maybe see AOTC one more time.

Lame I tell you..my life is LAME!

 

Anakinwisler... decided the Jarjar screen name was too controversial to use here? Hey man, I work until 3:30pm on Monday but I'd be happy to go see AOTC again that evening if you want to wait til then.

 

^ The movie plays at 3:50 and 7:00pm, I "might" be able to go.

When I'm not busy working, I'll be playing a little Neverwinter Nights, but mostly, I'll be sulking.

 

I'm going to a couple parties spread out over the weekend...Going to see AOTC with my sister again on Sunday(for FREE, I might add)...other than that, not much.

 

Saturday - housecleaning and some work
Sunday - Legoland
Monday - more work

 

Doin a bit of Homework and going to water polo practice.

 

Saturday - Hangin out w/ friends
Sunday - Seeing a play
Monday - hanging out w/ firends and/or go to arcade.

Looks like I might be going to Big Bear tomorrow, so I guess I won't be able to see the movie.

You don't need to go to Big Bear. AOTC is not playing there.

It's hot and dry and windy up there, and crowded as heck. Trust me, was just there yesterday. You don't want to go within 30 miles of the 30 freeway going up the hill to Bear. It's painfully gridlocked at all hours. Yuck!

Well, it seems that Notre Dame beat the snot out of Maryland!!! Not that I am remembering much of the whole weekend, seems I've taken a fancy to Homeless_Jedi's ways of beer and girls...such is the college life... Enjoy the weekend, all!!

Well, not as bad as [face_shocked]. Ended up sitting around and playing Super Smash Brothers. Also was a bouncer for a pretty crappy party. "You will NOT try to enter for free. You DO want to tip the bouncer..." And homework seems to want to occupy the rest of my time.

 

Well, as I suspected, I'm working, playing NWN here and there and sulking a lot. I had a fight with someone very important to me and now I'm waiting for them to decide to talk to me again. Until they do, my mood is pretty poor.

 

Well I didn't go to Big Bear today afterall. I took what JediG60racer said about it being too hot and crowded and decided to take the kids to Knotts Soak City today instead. I ended up breaking my toe and they had to bring a wheelchair and wheel me out to my car. How embarrassing! Now I have the use of one arm and one leg - like Anakin I am slowly becoming more machine than woman... lol. I wanted to go see AOTC again today but I am pretty much homebound for a while with my foot soaking in some ice. This is the 4th toe I've broken! GAH!

 

Poor Linda, one appendage starts to heal up and another one gets busted...

 

^ No kidding! Someone should just blast me and put me out of my misery! Preferably NOT a stormtrooper. They are such bad shots I can imagine I would lay there suffering for a long while before I finally died.
