What is MiroDV2avi, and how do I get rid of it?

    I capture using a Pinnacle Studio Deluxe, and everytime I capture, it automatically compresses the footage with this codec. I know how to capture, so don't think I'm a newbie, I've tried Premiere, Studio 7, and Vegas to no avail. The reason I want uncompressed is that I am chromakeying the footage, and it looks TERRIBLE because of the compression. Help Please?!

    A. Probably something to convert file extensions that got set as the default in the install.

    B. You can afford those three, expensive editing platforms?!? :eek:
