JCC What is the best horror story you can come up with in two sentences

I begin tucking him into bed and he tells me, “Daddy check for monsters under my bed.” I look underneath for his amusement and see him, another him, under the bed, staring back at me quivering and whispering, “Daddy there’s somebody on my bed.”

She wondered why she was casting two shadows. Afterall, there was only a single lightbulb.

It's been watching me for hours now... Sometimes I catch glimpses of its reflexion on the computer screen, but I dare not turn around...

The doctors told the amputee he might experience a phantom limb from time to time. Nobody prepared him for the moments though, when he felt cold fingers brush across his phantom hand.

You're laying in bed and with your feet dangling out of the covers. You feel a hand grab your feet.(this has been my own ongoing night terror, but it doesn't happen so much anymore.)

I opened a link to Reddit.

 

It was one of those rare peaceful nights on the JC, where you couldn't help but notice the lack of squabbles and castigations. Then a moderator put on his modly hat and typed out an official type of post (you know the kind, announcing some new development that is accompanied by sickening, inauthentic enthusiasm) that went on to proclaim to the well anticipated rabble of common users: "We've made a unanimous decision!"

 

I rushed home because a friend was cooking dinner. Spaghetti was everywhere.

I clicked on this thread. If not for that I would have had to do something productive.
