There's no way any SW movie is going to beat ESB.

I voted for ROTJ, my favorite.

If we're talking best made, it'd probabaly be ESB.

I'm a diehard OT fan- but AOTC is my favorite film- so far. I love how they're slowly portraying Ani slipping into darkness. His fall is seductive and barely noticable.

And I love how in the film Ani and Padme both mirror a lot of the things that occur in ANH. Padme stands nearly in the same spot that her daughter's holoimage appears 20 years later, and Luke is full of dreams in the garage, while his father is full of pain.

Brilliant...Beautiful...and Ep 3 will destroy all.

Or all will destroy Lucas. :p

Gotta go with ESB. Ghost Obi-Wan and Yoda, not to mention Leia actually showing signs of being able to use the force. What more could you ask for?

I know I'm gonna be raked over the coals for this- but I think that ROTJ is the best.

    *insert 'Clerks' rant here*

Luke's coming of age, the best space battle, the full circle "father and son" story - classic. Not to mention, the scout troopers and speeder bikes!

ESB is a great flick, but I like ROTJ better.

I would have gone for ROTJ, but those damn Ewoks ruin it.

I would have to say that AotC was my favorite. RotJ would be #2 with TPM in 3rd {dodges flying objects}. ESB was a great story but the action in the other three was way better, especially when it comes to classic duels.

    Classic duels? Are you kidding??

Luke fights Vader for the very first time, and gets his butt kicked!

"but you are not a Jedi yet..."
    Chilling.

I know... but I don't consider Luke being outclassed by a more experienced Vader a "classic duel".

Although I like the SW movies for many different reasons, for me the #1 reason is the lightsaber duels. That's why I didn't pick ESB as one of my top 3. The Yoda/Dooku was my favorite (so far) followed by Luke/Vader (RotJ) and the Duel of Fates in third. The Obi-Wan/Vader duel in ANH was good too, but it was more of a distraction for Luke and the others to escape than an actual duel.
