Or, just like Leia in TLJ, he used telekinesis to move himself, (having spotted the holes).

 

That’s why it’s one of the great uses of the Force. Esp after he lost all of those waist, legs & feet dwelling midichlorians.

And with the power, he was able to hold off the First Order without anyone getting hurt. Now that's power.

What about stopping a bolt mid air? Maybe not as amazing as maul or Luke projection, but it's up there
