The Star Wars soundtracks are fantastic and I also love the soundtrack to Zorba the Greek.

If I had to listen to one CD (OK, technically two)
for the rest of my life, it would ESB. John Williams'
    master work IMO.

ESB is two hours of musical perfection, IMO.

Aside from "Empire Strikes Back", my other main source of movie score Shangri-La is "The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly" film score by Ennio Morricone. The man simply knew how to set scenes with music.

This is correct. Not the special edition, though (stupid Vader-arriving-on-Executor scene ).

After reviewing my choices, both in context with the movie and as music by itself, my personal choice is Shindler's List. This music is extremely emotional and blends extremely well with the movie. This is a point where I believe that many scores are great music, but they do not necessarally blend with the movie they are for. In SL, Williams uses a folk melody as the centerpoint for his music. This is why it is among the greatest, in my opinion.
