The soundtrack of "Monsters Inc."... I love Randy Newman's work. I think it's my personal favourite, compared to Toy Story 1+2 and A Bug's Life.

The Empire Strikes Back - Special Edition

It had a Parental Guidance - Explicit Lyrics sticker due to the fact that the only copy of TESB they had was in a broken case so they had to change it, and the other CD case had the sticker on. I found it quite amusing.

They had one copy of TESB, one of ANH and about a dozen copies of TPM:UE (reduced price). I thought it was a bit sad. I must be one of the few people who LIKES (yes, LIKES) TPM:UE, despite the choppy editing at the end.

Return of the Jedi: Special Edition. It was the only one that I didn't have.

    Edhel, I liked TPM:UE.

I did get Harry Potter and both Matchbox Twenty CDs for Christmas.

Next up on my list is Fantasia 2000 and the AOTC soundtrack. :)

I just today picked up a cheap copy of Brian Eno's Before And After Science, after I read a review calling it one of the best albums of all time. Bit of a shame it isn't, really.

George Harrison's classic 1970 solo double album ALL THINGS MUST PASS. Right after he died it was sold out in all the stores and I just recently got a copy off the restocked stack. My favorite track is FORGIVE ME LORD. A great spiritual rock ballad.

Indeed. Truly a masterpiece of rock, All Things Must Pass. George was one of the great guitar players of rock history and his music has always been close to my heart. He will always be missed. Just yesterday I was surprised to hear the Beatles' "Free As a Bird" at a store in the mall. I walked in just as George sang his bit and played the guitar solo. Caught offguard, I was moved to tears.

"My Sweet Lord" "Wah-Wah" "Isn't It a Pity" are all masterpieces and among his best work ever. All Things Must Pass is prolly the best Beatles solo album, tied only with John Lennon's Double Fantasy.
