I love that choral piece that starts about 5 minutes into The Battle Of Endor (Part 2) on the ROTJ soundtrack. It lasts for around 40 seconds before the Emperor's theme kicks in.

I'm sure I've heard Ben Burtt mention it by name on one of the many DVD documentaries but I can't remember what it was. From the track listing it looks like it might be called The Dark Side Beckons but does anyone know for sure?

Hehe, sorry, guess I should have looked harder, but at least it's part of this thread now too.

It is a fantastic cue and it works really well with the Emperor's theme. I'd love to hear it extended into a concert arrangement.

Where can I find the music from the final AOTC trailer used toward the end, starting with the shot of Anakin flipping up and backward during the droid factory sequence? It's a most triumphant cue, but I can't find it anywhere on my CDs...is it part of the abandoned score from AOTC?

Ok this is non Star Wars but, at the end of the LOTR Fellowship trailer and at the end, I think, of the T3 trailer, what is the cue called?

Yes. I wasn't any help. They have some things wrong.

 

The one I like humming while driving is the one that is playing when the snowspeeders are zipping around looking for Han and Luke.

incidentally, could someone let me know what this cue, track, song WHATEVER is called? I borrowed a friends copy of the Empire strikes Back soundtrack and skipped to a track with 'Snowspeeders take flight' in the title, and was confronted with something entirely different.

So yeah - can anyone lemme know where I can find that on the CD? I'm giving it back soon.

 

The music you seek is called "Hyperspace." The Snowspeeders track on the CD is what Williams originally composed for this section but Lucas in the end decided to track the scene with music from later in the film... namely the sequence where the Falcon is trying to get into Hyperspace after escaping Cloud City.

What is the name of the track that plays when Luke burns Vader's body?

 

On the SE cds, it is the last part of the track titled "Leia's New/Light Of The Force". On the Anthology discs, I believe it is titled "Funeral Pyre For A Jedi". And going way back to the original soundtrack, I believe you can hear it as part of a track called "Rebel Briefing".

For those of you that have had the opportuniy to watch the Celebration 3 "Sneak Peak" Video I was wondering if anyone knows what music was used for the begining sequnce?

The music that starts at 00:35 secs is really cool and alot of people say it's from the Van Helsing CD but I havent found it yet on the Van Helsing CD, especially the music at 1:38 min to 2:26.
Does anyone know what track or composer it's from?

For the Revenge of the Sith video game trailer, there is a cue I can't find. Its the second trailer, the cue just before the start singing Korah Ratamah.

On the AOTC DISC 2 there is an awesome S/FX montage in Dex's diner. What's the name of that song? Anyone, anyone?

Ok, so I know the cue 'Funeral Pyre for a Jedi' which is the very slow moving emotional song played during Vaders funeral. But this piece of music is also used in another cue, where it is more faced paced and suited to action scenes, do you know what it is called?
