ComicDude, may I suggest you read the Thrawn trilogy comic adaptations? They're pretty good.

The comic adapts have so many flaws in them though.

Well, it's just a tapestry inside of the palace on a wall. Obviously palpy had a taste in beauty.

Luke and leia still don't really know what there mother looks like yet, though.

So is the tapestry a pic of Natty? Wow! That's really thinking a head... that was how long before TPM? Wonder what else we're overlooking from PT era?

Comic was released a year or 2 before the film release.

Mention of the the Jedi Council as we see it in star wars redemption.

The idea of one master one apprentice in YJK series to name a few more.

Possibly, a view of the jedi temple in the coruscant background in JAT: Leviathan.

Natalie was confirmed and had already shot TPM by the time the TLC adaption was released. The artist added her as a little easter egg.

I'm sorry, I know I'm usually the guy to throw all of these threads off topic but when I stumble upon one that seems to be answering my questions... well, I can't resist! :)

Okay, so one more question: Where was the original story about Thrawn's origin (that Voss Parack, one) published? It's some magazine or another, I know, but can I still get back issues? If not, where can I read it? Maybe somewhere on the web? I've waited FAR too long to read that damn story so it better be good!

Mist Encounter from West End Games' Star Wars Adventure Journal #7(Aug 95).

You're pretty much out of luck. SWAJ's show up on ebay every so often. I know big media outlet chain, MediaPlay carried all sorts of old SWRPG materials including the SWAJ's at least until two years ago when I was in one.

Yep. When I was in Denver for the '99 Celebration, MediaPlay was one of the first stores I perused for new Star Wars items, and I picked up AJ # 15 for $ 6. I also got the WEG Indiana Jones starter boxed set for $ 3. My friend got a bunch of other Adventure Journals I already owned.
