Earlier I've been combing my collection of star wars lit for images for wookiepedia, now I have more than what I can identify. So, from boredom, and , I present this thread. Hopefully someone out there with more knowledge than me or more imagination in connecting the descriptions with the images can identify the pictures I show.

    First,

An Unknown Rebel Tank from Dark Empire

My best guess is that it is a combat version of a line of Trast non-hover trucks. It reminds me of the same sort of lines.

That's not a rebel tank. That's a pirate apc/tank (which are known as MIFVs-Mechinised Infantry Fighting Veichles).

Mind if I use that image for a veichle site I'm making.

At least two Gallofrees, one of those Coruscant transport ships from AotC, a couple ships that look vaguely like Consulars, and at least one Mon Cal of some sort.

Hmm...that could be a Moldy Crow between the noses of the Mon Cal and the Neb on the far left...

^It could be...but it looks to me like either a cloakshapeheading toward the planet, or maybe a Nubian Scurrg H-6

The "Ubrikkian space cruiser" is called a Seltiss-2.

That "Rebel" tank were scavengers, which the comic called scavs.

And there's an Incon Y-4 Raptor transport. If you ever played Rogue Squad 64, you can't forget those lumbering buggers.

No, I was mistaken---the Seltiss-2 is the Hutt Caravel. The other is simply called a luxury space cruiser. It joins the ranks of Luxury shuttles and Luxury yachts we've seen in the Bantam books. And I errored the Raptorr too; it must be the clone transport, the RC-90?

Okay just cancelled the Star Destroyer pic from Marvel since it was just a plain old Custom modded Star Destroyer.

Heres an image for those interested though.

Have a couple of images right now that need detailed backgrounds.

From the Starfighter game, its a concept but most of the concepts didnt get cut. Ordinary Freighter or Lucky Charm?

A Precursor to the Vulture or just lighter variant used the same time?

That 3rd one is in Jedi Starfighter. Its the "Freefall" bomber piloted by Nym's starship designer Jinkins. Apparently its "a technical marvel with the latest in spaceflight technology. A gunship style craft that has a number of unique features to it". "Primary weapon: Long-range laser cannons. Jinkins found special sand that allowed him to create very rare lenses to use in his zoom scope. The result is the ability to accurately fire his blaster cannons over very long ranges. Secondary weapon: Mechanised drone fighters attached to the wings of the "Freefall", these small and agile Drone fighters released as a group immediately home in and swarm enemy targets. Given their speed and agility, enemies find them almost impossible to hit."

The fourth image shows a Trade Federation "Scarab" droid starfighter, used at the same time as the Vulture, but IIRC more powerful. Its seen in Starfighter, but I'm not sure if that pic is fanart or not.

The Scarabs are an earlier-used droid fighter of the Trade Federation..though they remind me more of the IG-2000.

What Star Destroyer were you talking about? The flagship can hardly be called a modded ISD, since it's closer to Executor-size.

(Actually the Wookipedia states that it was based upon concept art for the Ex.)

This is apparently another SSD variant, possibly uniqe but possibly a special class.

Is there any kind of explanation as to why the Admiral's and the Jerec's of the Empire can design and customize their flagships so much?

next up some people from the rebellion guide... they look to be people from the endor commando team but I personally dont know their names.

    Yup-

    [image=http://www.starwars.hu/pix/enciklopedia/filmjei/e6/kivagott_jelenetek/falcon_gunner.jpg]

That other guy actually has a camotrench coat on, so I'd asusme he was a part of the strike team on the surface, not aboard a fleet ship (unless he's found in the briefing room scene, perhaps?).

Ace was younger. This must be one of the other crew on the Falcon (which was operating with at least 5, possibly 6 people- Lando, Nien, Ace, Cracken, Gunner, and possibly one more in the cockpit.
