Vader doesn't allow himself love. But maybe I'm wrong. Maybe something happened between Empire and Jedi. Someone should write a fanfiction about this pairing.

 

He doesnt allow love but still is capable of it. He saved Luke out of love eventually

Kylo worships his grandfather and anyone who worships Vader has my seal of approval. That being said, I don’t think Kylo is well informed of what made Vader the person that he was, because if he did he wouldn’t be behaving like this.

Yes, I think it would be so cool if Vader and Vanee and similar backgrounds. They destroyed their comrades in service of what they perceive to be the righteous power.

 

Kylo doesn't understand Vader imo. Kylo grew up as a spoiled prince and is now a dark spoiled prince, I doubt he can imagine the sacrifices his grandfather had to make. How enduring he had to be.

That's true. But I think it was the first time he allowed himself to act on his love in canon. Idk, I guess I'm a bit torn about a possible love-storyline with Vanee. It's probably more something for fanfiction than for canon. Also, Anakin/Vader being bisexual could be a bit of a shock because he was always portrayed as being straight for decades. I mean yeah he could discover that he likes dudes to, but that development could still be a bit out of nowhere.

 

I also like it that Kylo worships his Grandfather. I worship Him too. I only wanted to say the result is funny because Kylo is too nervous and lacks charisma

Yeah, I think that was the intent. He grew up in peace times and privilege, and is trying to emulate a war hero, but he doesn't know how nor what it takes, and he is following the wrong advice. It's a pretty original character concept and one of my favorite things from TFA, tbh.

This conversation about Kylo reminds me of this rant from this little girl who seems to have just realized that Vader is cooler after watching RO.

(you have to watch the video just for her drawings. That has to be the most hilariously cute Vader fanart I have ever seen).

 

That's one passionate fan. We should invite her into our fan-club!

 

I may or may not have mentioned this before, but Vader badassery is awesome.

You too! I gotta go with the Bacca tank as that was the first time we saw him. I got chills. Vader's always been my favorite. I have a Vader coffee mug. Hoping for a Vader flashback scene in The Last Jedi. It's not Star Wars without Vader.

 

Absolutely great. It makes all the sense in the world to me to bring back this from Legends. Still, one thing that I would love is seeing the Stormtroopers like the "elite" troopers of the Empire, like they were described in the OT. From what I remember, they weren´t meant to be the local police in backwater planets, nor some disposable grunts that could get beaten by pretty much every bounty hunter in the galaxy. Even if they were turned into just that, I´ve always seen the logic in seeing the Stomtroopers like a pretty elite branch of the Empire´s military, and that´s why such big projects like the Death Stars were protected by them, and why Darth Vader himself used them in his operations. It makes sense, right?

P.S.: I want to know about Vanée too!!! maybe we will be in the upcoming comic?

 

Re: Stormtroopers -- There are stormtroopers in general, and then there's the 501st.

 

He's easily the greatest movie character ever.
