Right. This is how all this started, remember? Don't EVER try to make me believe The Great One dies ever again.

No more drinks for Lynx, and she CAN'T choose our next part.

    *looks at ISD and Guardie*

I guess I have to let you two choose...

    Meeza back!

I'm sorry Enji for leaving you with all the responsibility for this little, hum, don't know what to call it. What the heck, I'm back!

Something where a lot of rebels die? Ok, just because I'm feeling some sort of stange got-to-be-nice-to-the-victims feeling today. Or maybe it's just that I haven't got enough sleep.

*glares at the cat that woke me up*

    And no, it's not Neko, I'm referring to Neko's cat... 8-}

There was other comm traffic: "Five, Five, he's on your tail!" "Can't get clear, vape him for me, Six - " "Can't, I've got - I've got-" "Nine banked into the volcano wall, she's gone-" Another explosion.

Moments later, at two thousand meters Donos angled to starboard, getting clear of the smoke and emerging directly over the gap between the volcanoes.
No on was on his tail. He checked the sensor board - didn't believe what it showed him, and checked it again.

He and Talon Twelve were the only New Republic forces remaining on the board. He counted twenty-three, twenty-four, twenty-five Imperial blips. A dozen were veering toward twelve, the remainder toward Donos.

In a matter of seconds, Talond Squadron had been all but destroyed. GLittering pieces of X-wing were still streaming down toward the planet's broken surface. In another few seconds, he and Twelve would be vaped, and the destruction would be complete.

Hey Lynx, what kind of rescue is this!?
I´m still tied to this chair unable to move :(

Well i guess i have to make my own release...
maybe if i can reach my trusty pocketknife...
    hmmm...almost...

Enji, can you read something about Xizor for me ?
Ohh and bring me some more tea as well!

That should keep her attention elsewhere for a while...

Umm, not only are you tied to the chair, but Lynx is actually tied to the same chair... :p

    Are you comfortable? :p

    Something about Xizor, right? Hmm...

*gets some tea and the book*

*gives the tea to Guardie and opens the book*

Righty-o... this is from Shadows of the Empire (big surprise...)

In his inner snactum, Xizor awoke from a light doze to the sound of his personal and private comlink speaking his name softly.
"Incoming call for you, Prince Shheezzorr."
Was that his imagination, or did the voxchip slur his name as the chair he'd replaced had done?
Nothing lasted these days. Everything started to break down before it was properly broken in. The Empire was going to entropy in a turbolift.
"Put it through. And do a self-diagnostic on your voxchip."
The small-scale holoproj flowered on his desk. It was one of his local spies.
    "Yes?"
"You asked me to inform you when Lord Vader returned to his castle, my prince. He has just arrived."
The Dark Prince nodded. "Good. Maintain normal surveillance procedures."
The spy nodded and broke the connection. His image blinked out.
So, Vader had returned from the wars, having unwittingly done Xizor's bidding by hitting Ororo where it hurt the most, in the credit balance. Along with Guri's little demonstration to the ranking officers, Ororo would be well-behaved, at least in the near future.
Best he not call on Vader just yet. Doubtless the Dark Lord of the Sith needed some time to cool down a bit from the slap on the hand the Emperor had delivered. Vader's main problem was that he allowed his temper to rule him. A legacy of his mammalian heritage - it was that way with many species and detrimental nearly always. Cold allowed precision; heat threw caution aside and plunged in rampantly. Cold was the process of deliberation and planning, heat the result of unbridled passion. Passion was fine, but only when controled and channeled properly.
Take Princess Leia, for instance. She attracted him, but he would bring her to him slowly and withcare, not in some wild chase in which he cast of his intellectual moorings and sailed out on the sea of lust. Ah, no, that was not the Falleen way. The Falleen way was cold.
    Cold was better than heat.
    Always.

There! What did you think? :D

Because you're taped to the floor... :p

Hmm. Maybe I could tape you to the chair instead, but it's a pretty small chair. Donät know if it will hold three people...

    Lynx:
I got chills, they're multiplyin', cause she's losin' control
To deny what she's supplyin', it's death defying'

    Enji:
You'd better shape up, got you all tied down, and my target's set on you
You'd better shape up, you better understand, to the books you must be true

    Lynx:
Can't fight back, now that Enji has turned blue

    Chorus:
It's your soul that she wants (your soul that she wants), ooh ooh ooh, EU
It's your soul that she wants (your soul that she wants), ooh ooh ooh, EU
It's your soul that she wants (your soul that she wants), ooh ooh ooh, EU
A cruel deed (a cruel deed), oh yes indeed (yes indeed)

    Enji:
You're so filled with rejection, 'n so scared to betray
Make you love my book collection, you'll want to stay

    Lynx:
She'll never shut up, cause she needs my soul

    Enji:
I need you soul, and I can keep you satisfied

    Lynx:
I'd better listen up, if I'm gonna survive

    Enji:
You'd better do, cause your fate is mine to decide

    Both:
Are you sure? Yes I'm sure down deep inside

    Chorus:
It's your soul that she wants (your soul that she wants), ooh ooh ooh, EU
It's your soul that she wants (your soul that she wants), ooh ooh ooh, EU
It's your soul that she wants (your soul that she wants), ooh ooh ooh, EU

Lynx, that song was just great! :D

Ehm, I don't like beer sorry. You have to empty all the bottles yourself. Contact me when you're ready to continue our little reading session. I want to wait until you have an opportunity to remember what we're telling you.

    Next up: The yokel group.
