I'm sure I've just missed the post somewhere but there are a lot of them and I havn't had the time I used to. I'm also sure it's just in one of the source books that I havn't gotten to yet but I just want to know what Yoda is and if there's any info out there on his species. Or is he just a mutated muppet and therefore one of a kind?

i don't think we know what Yoda is just yet...I may be wrong but i remember GL in an interview(it may have been Vanity Fair when Ep1 came out.)saying that we would learn the origen of Yoda's species in the upcomming Trilogy. So my guess is that all will be revealed in EP2 or 3.

Please corect me if I am wrong..i would love to know what Yoda is as well.

My friend always says that he's a human. You get to looking all nasty like that when you get to be 900

Sometimes I think he's joking, sometimes not. It's impossible to tell with him

Yoda is his own species so far. There is a tales of Yoda comic which might have some of his origin. The starwars.com data bank shows no name of yoda's species.Hopefully we will learn the secrects of the lil green pimp.

If Yoda is the only one of his species, how do you explain Yaddle? And what is this mysterious Tales of Yoda comic. I not missed a comic (of any series that I read) in many years, and have never heard of this one. Perhaps you refer to a Yoda story in Star Wars Tales?

I have to agree with BoB.....He's a muppet. As for Yoda's backwards-speak, maybe Frank Oz has his hand a little too far up there;)
