I like Scoundrel, but not because of the skillpoints(those are gravy), but because I like playing characters on the shady side of the universe's moral compass.

I'm inclined to choose the scoundrel, if for no other reason than that would suit the real me in StarWars. The galaxy is your oyster, make the most of it, don't get tied down to one place, and getting rich always beats getting by, but getting by beats life on Kessel any day.

The scoundrel, though, has one major weakness. They hardly get any vitality points at all. Makes them very unattractive except when a character concept calls for it.
Of course, due to some house rules to simplify leveling up, the scoundrel class is very appealing for its skill load. A single level of scoundrel can make a Jedi Guardian less dependent on his Force abilities.

I'm thinking it's most suitable for my wanderlust. The galaxies a big place, being a jack of all trades as it were will help get through most of it. Besides, who needs vitality when you have a meat shield (Guardian/Soldier/Slowly Bleeding to Death Noble, etc. etc.) for cover? A blaster can kill individual stormtroopers, but a few well chosen words can kill thousands.
