Most definitely the Binary Sunset cue. Not only is it my favourite Force Theme cue, it's one of my favourite cues in the whole saga thusfar. The single, sad and slow French horn playing as the suns set gives a new meaning to a melancholy melody, both visually and audially. It's beautiful.

Throne Room for me. That's why I'm having it at my wedding later this year

 

I like all of them, since the Force theme is one of my top 5 favorite SW themes. However, my personal favorites are the ones performed by french horns. Binary Sunset is at the top, but I also love the Return to Tatooine cue from AotC. It's also a good DotF reprise.

As an aside, my copy of Jedi Academy for the PC is modded to include new sounds for Force power usage. My favorite is the new sound for Force Heal--a brief Force theme quote from Return to Tatooine. I found the file at jk2files.com, if anyone is interested.

 

This is such a tough choice. It was difficult to even narrow it down to nine choices for the poll.

Very close to Binary Sunset for me are The Throne Room, Light Of The Force, and Rescue From Cloud City.

 

Oh such a good poll but so close to decide since I love them all. I guess I would say that "Rescue from Cloud City" is my favorite with "The Throne Room","Battle of Yavin","Anakin is Free" and "The Emperors Death" comming close.

Light of the Force

 

Yeah, Senny. Sometimes I think I'd go with that one. Brings a tear to your eye.

 

Although I really, really love the Throne Room, I can't remember it giving me goosebumps like the first time I heard the Force Theme as part of Fighting the Destroyer Droids.

 

Learn about the Force/Tales of a Jedi Knight with Light of the Force, The Empeor's Death, and "Vader's on that ship." close 2nds. Though the cue in The Tide Turns always gave me goosebumps

 

"Light of the Force" does it for me, everytime (no, not that).

 

"Anakin is free" for me.

Very dramatic statement of the theme. A defining point in the saga.

 

Light of the Force. Sniff...
That was tough yet. Binary Sunset is a really close second, followed by Return to Tatooine and Rescue from Cloud city.

 

Ah, what about the Force Theme cue in Shadows of the Empire? That's my personal favorite, by which I mean I've heard it less times, so it sounds fresher. Also, there was a very cool rendition of the Force Theme in Knights of the Old Republic (videogame). During the Escape from Taris. Ah, and also the arrival at Dantooine.

 

Most definitely in "Return to Tatooine." It has such a powerful "climactic" moment, if you will, when Anakin is walking away...chilling...

 

My favorites are:

Fighting the Destroyer Droids (the best scene in TPM)
Binary Sunset

 

Light of The Force and The Emperor's Death. The Emperor's Death makes me want to get up and cheer; Light is simply sad and wonderful.

 

That's really really hard. I'll have to go with the Binary Sunset, that's the first time we really hear it so that it stands out and it is so emotionally potent.

 

Light of the Force I love that scene, the Force Theme really helps to make it special.

 

Is the Light of the Force the Funeral Pyre? If it is, that's my favorite. If it isn't, it's the Funeral Pyre.

 

Yes, "Light Of The Force" (the second part, beginning at 2:13) is what plays during Vader's funeral pyre.

 

I voted for the Binary Sunset. That whole track is so beautiful; I play it over and over, and you really "feel" Luke and his frustratation... "Boy do I wish I could leave this rock." And the music sort of sings to us and the lyrics... "Don't worry... your time is coming, Luke."

 

Hopefully we'll get that choral Force Theme in ROTS , but until then...
