So what's your weapon of choice when it comes to the internet? Mine's Firefox, although I've enjoyed using Chrome and Opera at times as well.

And a side question: If you like more than one browser, what specific features do you enjoy about each one?

Firefox, followed closely by Chrome and then Opera. Though I actually use Opera more than Chrome, still. IE... somewhere WAY down the line. Like last.

    I like Firefox's customization features. :p

Firefox for sure. :D I can't live without dem extensions (Adblock in particular).

Although lately I've been browsing the JC on Safari just cause it doesn't play nice with Firefox. :(

I've used Opera before and it's alright, but for me it's Firefox hand down. I just feel it works the best, especially in comparison with IE.

Oh, you should definitely try another one just for fun. Who knows, you might like it better.

For web development and testing purposes, these are all the browsers I currently have installed on my XP machine:
    Firefox 3.5.2
    IE 8
    IE 6
    IE 5.5
    IE 5.01
    Netscape 9
    Chrome 2.0
    Opera 9.6
    Safari 4.0.3

I typically only use Firefox. Though I will occasionally load up Chrome or Opera or Safari (whichever I feel like at the moment) if I'm experiencing problems on a certain web site. Using a different browser than I'm normally used to often forces me to use the web slightly differently, and will almost always point out features I either miss about Firefox, or in which another browser might be surprisingly superior.

    Firefox, hands down.

And please ... does everybody use middle-mouse click or not? I can't stand when I see people right-mouse click a link and select 'Open Link in New Tab' -- it drives me nuts! :p

I just prefer IE. Why is everyone trying to get me to use Firefox? o_O

Simple. It's faster, safer, less buggy and has more functionality. Make sense? :p

What he said. And I use middle-mouse-click all the time for scrolling really fast, but I tend to forget about the new tab functionality there. I need to remember to use that more frequently.

On that note, yay for having an 8-button mouse :p

I used to use Internet Explorer, but it was always quite slow for me, even on a new computer. These days I prefer Firefox.

I primarily use Firefox, and I love it. I also tend to keep multiple browsers around so I can be logged into sock accounts for fanficcing purposes without having to log out of my main one. :p Safari isn't bad. I haven't tried Chrome yet, though perhaps I should. I just really like all the settings I've built up on Firefox.

Firefox. Everything looks so much better in that browser. And I love the add-ons, especially the web developer one.

 Seriously did not know that I could do that! This is almost as big as when I finally discovered tabs many years ago. Thank you! [:D] The middle-mouse click is a really awesome shortcut!

    p.s. I use Firefox.

    IE.

I tried Firefox, and simply missed IE. IE feels like home, snug, Firefox feels very cold.

Hooray for homely IE. Home sweet home.

I feel slightly like Everton :p I've never really had a problem with IE, so I use it for most things when I'm on my computer. When I use a Mac, I use Firefox when possible - I really, really hate Safari - it's slow and it spends a lot of time timing out.

However, the Mozilla license isn't exactly completely open source.

If you wanted Open Source, you should go with Iceweasel (Same thing a Firefox, but COMPLETELY Open Source). Then again, you'd have to be using linux to get it. I personally don't care. Firefox still beats the other browsers hands down, despite its shaky open source status. :p
