What is your favorite Prequel theme?

Battle of the Heroes followed closely by DOTF

 

Anakin's Theme. Miles beyond the others in terms of musical complexity, a beautiful theme, and needless to say, I love the hints of the Imperial March.

 

Duel Of The Fates, followed by Battle Of The Heros.

I'm with both of you. I loved "Duel of the Fates". I didn't know if anything could top it. Then, I heard "Battle of the Heroes".

Duel Of fates, the fast paced music goes so well with the light saber battles.

 

Had to go /w Across the Stars.

 

Across the Stars. So different from all the other themes, stylistically. It may have accompanied the worst aspects of the prequels but it was a great theme.

DOTF was great. No doubting that. Anakin's theme and the Trade Federation March I also hold very close. Grievious' theme is also excellent and not featured nearly enough.

 

"Battle of the Heroes"

 

My favorite is Shmi's theme closely followed by Battle of heroes (I'm not that fond of the concert version but I like how it's used in Anakin vs Obi-Wan).

 

I love the Droid Army theme, and I love Battle of the Heroes and Across the Stars. But pound for pound, one of my all-time favorite Star Wars themes is Duel of the Fates. So powerful, especially in its use in Yoda vs. Palpatine.

Trade Federation March. I was really hoping when TPM came out that this would become the new Imperial March. Instead, it was virtually dropped from the other movies.

 

Quick question: Is the Trade Federation Theme that wonderfully dark brass piece that plays during "The Droid Invasion" in TPM? That's what I've always thought of as the Trade Federation Theme, but I'm not sure. If it's not, what is the precise name of that Droid Invasion theme, and which theme belongs to the Trade Federation?
