Kingdom of Heaven IMO. It's 145 of historical grittiness done well. Love the story, sets and score.

It was close, but I'll have to go with Kingdom of Heaven. It comes out on DVD on Oct. 11th! Hooray! [face_dancing] At least, I think that's the date! :p

Several good ones here, but I think the epic feel of Gladiator takes the cake. ;)

I'm happy to see that people besides myself liked Kingdom of Heaven, but i simply do not see how it could be better than gladiator. My vote absolutely goes to Gladiator.

I didn't like Gladiator that much, for some reason. Perhaps it's because I saw it in German when I barely understood anything? Anyway, Kingdom of Heaven is a wonderful movie, in my opinion.

Very, VERY close call between Blade Runner and Gladiator. Much as I love Alien... It simply had to be Blade Runner in the end.

Easy choice for me, I went for Blade Runner because that's also my third all-time-favourite film :D

I do feel that The Duellists deserves to be listed individually though. That would have been my second choice ;)

Gladiator. With Alien and Blade Runner as very close runner-ups.

Simply awe-ing. Brilliant, repeat, brilliant music. Great performances all around, loved the movie. :D Easily takes the cake and even the topping is quite good too....
