The new BSG. No other sci-fi series comes close. I'm still a gluton for X-Files reruns, and even like Star Trek TNG reruns.(not the movies though, they're awful)

Trek will always be my favorite TV series, with Stargate SG-1 and Smallville coming in second.

Ever since I accidentaly 'discovered' the Lexx on Sci-fi and then it was cancelled. Two things have occurred. Firstly, I nearly have all of the series and the movies(trying to get Eating Pattern). And secondly, I NO LONGER WATCH SCI-FI.

The new Battlestar Galactica without question. Followed by... hmmm... Stargate SG-1 (although I'm partial to the X-Files)

I think the last time I posted in this thread I said Lost and Battlestar Galactica. I have just finished the Firefly DVD collection and this show has to rank up with my favorites. It is very excellent.

Neon Genesis Evangelion is now and forever number 1.

Planetes is in a solid number two position. Realistic hard sci-fi, yet still a great character drama.

Eureka 7: Psalms of Planets is number three, and may get upped a notch if it keeps on as awesome as it is.

Babylon 5. for grand story telling and scope.

    Firefly is great of course.

    Patlabor constantly made me laugh.

FLCL is a great visual treat, and the soundtrack is the best out there.

Legend of the Galactic Heroes. I'd rather get my hands on the books translated some day, but for now the OVA's are doing a good job of being very interesting.

And finally, Gundam's, various. Mostly Seed though.

    -P!-

    Now: Smallville

    Then(growing up): Quantum Leap

I've heard good things about that "Firefly" show, maybe I should give it a shot....[face_thinking]

BSG by far. After that well frack thats a good question.

Lost of course but I don't know if I'd put it before Buffy and Angel. SG-1 ranks right up there. Then there is always Firefly not to mention Supernatural that I'm liking right now. Surface, Invasion, basicaly second is a toss up for me.

Had Firefly ran longer, it would definitely be my pick. But I can't ignore the seven seasons of Star Trek: The Next Generation or Deep Space Nine. The new Battlestar Galactica is also moving up the list.

In the fantasy side of things, my choice is easy: Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Only Angel comes close.

TNG. It may be almost twenty years old, but I've never seen so much concrete storytelling weaved into the exceptional paradigm. By season 4, the crew truly felt like an extended family. I haven't been keeping up on it on Spike TV, but I got the DVDs go that's a good compensation.

Battlestar Galactica and Lost of those currently airing in my area. Babylon 5, first 5 seasons of X-files and Stargate SG-1 (on a break) are among my all-time faves.

X-Files, Buffy, and Star Trek: TNG

I may be the only diehard Buffy fan who's never seen an episode of Angel. [face_blush]

For me, it's The X-Files. That show single-handedly started my interest in all things sci-fi, so it will always be my favorite.

The upgraded Battlestar Galactic is my current favorite, followed by Star Trek DS9, Mystery Science Theater 3000, and Farscape. I think Firefly would have developed into a great show if it had a few more season, but as it stands, it was only pretty good.

I really liked Lost Season 1, but I want to wait to see how Season 2 winds up before putting it on the list. Too bad I have to wait for the DVD. Our ABC affiliate just frustrates the heck out of me.

Dr. Who and watching TNG reruns are my favorites. Not sure if it counts, but I love Ghost Hunters, and it is in fact on the sci fi channel. I guess its more paranormal though.
