It's 'gotta be Clones!
ewoks - battle for endor and adventures
I saw Episode IV when I was about three, but when Empire came out, I was six. Not only do I feel this
is the smartest, best looking and most mature film in the series, there is the nostalgia factor as well. I
actually could understand what was going on this time.
The best thing was, after it was over, my dad and
I were walking out of the theater and his only response
was "So, 'ol Darth Vader's Luke's dad, huh?" I love
Bib's 100% right about ESB, and the part about AotC makes me hungry. But there are so many moments in ESB (bah, the whole film) that give me goosebumps.
my favorite one is "the phantom clone's hope returns to strike back"
also known as "the star wars saga"
AOTC is my fave.
The rest stack up as follows:
But I love them all.
The Empire Strikes Back.
AOTC. At least until May 19, 2005 I suspect.
Attack of the Clones is in my opinion the best Star Wars movie. It has instantly changing storyline and great intrigues. Many species and characters are present, together with travels to exotic worlds like
Geonosis. The final battle is awesome and thrilling,
best in cinema history probably. Till AOTC I appreciated Return of the Jedi as my favourite movie...but times are changing and we with them!
ehhh its tuff choice between all the originals, the prequels definatly werent in my choice's, ended up goin with ROTJ.
Can't choose between Clones and Empire.
I'll vote Clones for now (since it's running behind)
The Empire Strikes Back - 99.9% perfect.
Attack of the Clones - There's a reason why Spielberg called this Lucas' best directorial work so far, and it's not what you think--the way he handled the romance subplot. The relationship was MEANT to be unconfortable and without chemistry, and Lucas was smart enough to realize this. Hayden deserves more respect, period. Add in a deceptively brilliant story, a tremendous performance by Ian and a heart-attack inducing third act, and you have a great film.
Return of the Jedi - Ewoks don't suck, sorry. I will admit it is not very original, but it is VERY imaginative and wonderful. The final duel gives me legitimate goosebumps and ending still brings me to tears. Sometimes I wish the entire world was like the victory celebration at the end.
A New Hope - It's documentary feel is kind of hard to digest once you get used to the movies that followed it, but it stands alone PERFECTLY.
The Phantom Menace - It's been a while since I watched TPM. I do remember really enjoying it and Qui-Gon is easily one of my favorite characters, but even I must admit that Lucas' directing skills(Which he has a LOT of) were rusty, as 22 years passed between this and AHN.
Empire Always Has Been...
Probably Always WIll Be...
It was a hard decision but ultimately, ESB is the best.
I find it interesting that ROTJ is currently second. I love the flick to death, but it is definitely my least favorite (in fact, I like to think of TPM, AOTC, ANH, and TESB all as tied for #1, and ROTJ as #2).
The Wrath of...I mean The Empire Strikes Back.
This is a tough call as I don't really think of them as separate movies, but one saga. However, if pressed I'll have to say ANH since it was the first one I saw and probably the one I've seen the most.
should be RotS!
bu so far its still Return of the Jedi. though its hard to choose. they're all one big movie for me
Empire Strikes Back
Return of the Jedi.
