What is your favorite SW movie?

Personally I think the prequels weren't done very well.
That leave's the classics, A New Hope is good but Empire Strikes back is better, that would make Return of the Jedi the best.

 

Here's my order of favorite Star Wars Movies. The Return of the Jedi, The Phantom Menace, Empire Strikes Back, Attack Of the Clones, A New Hope.

 

I think the quality of acting in the prequels has been underrated in many ways. Hayden's emotional range is pretty impressive ("Life as a House" was brilliant) and I think Ewan has grown from indy film non-conformist...into a leading man, in part because of his work on AOTC. With each movie, his ability to assimilate the traits of Sir Alec Guiness has drawn alot of attention.

And after watching the TPM documentary...where they audition 3 kids with the "are you an angel" scene, i can see why they chose Jake Lloyd. While there may have been more work to be done (as a director) the end result had more power to it.
