The variations of the Force theme never fail to give me chills, especially the one that plays during Episode V when, Luke calls to Leia through the Force as he's hanging under Cloud City. It's probably also my favourite scene in the entire saga (which doesn't have Neimoidians ;)). I also have a huge affinity to the Immolation Scene theme - for numerous reasons, I think it's one of the finest pieces of music Williams has ever made. Just the depth of emotion, despair, and darkness in it is mindblowing!

BUT, without a doubt, my favourite theme is the Trade Federation theme, during the Naboo Invasion. I will absolutely refuse to skip past it on my iPod. Not only does it involve my favourite species and organisation, but, honestly, for some reason, that above all other pieces of music recalls my childhood and seeing Episode I for the first time. And you can't put a price on nostalgia!

Hard to choose. My top 5 list would be (in no particular order):

    - Anakin's theme
    - Leia's theme
    - Yoda's theme
    - Battle of the Heroes

As far as themes are concerned, The Force Theme for sure. Just beautiful. If we're talking about specific cues/tracks, its iteration in "Binary Sunset" is of course a standout. Another favorite: "The Throne Room and End Titles" (Ep. IV). Perfect summation and climax of the ANH score.

Soft spot for the Ewok-related themes (yes, including Yub Nub! ;))

I have to say, I'm surprised that more people aren't mentioning the Massassi Temple throne room piece, or Duel of the Fates! I would've thought these would be staples in the favorites list!

As it is, I would have to say the Massassi Temple throne room piece is my favorite. I also quite like Yoda's theme and Battle of the Heroes.

Order 66 and across the stars are not too bad either... :p

Hmm. Picking one would be very, very tough.

    How about this?

The Phantom Menace: Duel of Fates
Attack of the Clones: Across the Stars
Revenge of the Sith: Jedi Temple March
A New Hope: The Force Theme
The Empire Strikes Back: Imperial March
Return of the Jedi: Victory Celebration

My all-time favorite SW theme is Battle of the Heroes, from RotS. So emotional and so tragic that it's ridiculous (the good kind). For me, it has all the great themes, emotions, and feelings from the entire saga compounded into one distinct thing. Love it.
