What is your favorite Vader scene?

Favorite Vader scene, not a line:

On Could City in ESB. When the steams rises from the CArbon chamber, DV looks down at the contraption and the steam seems to dance all over his mask. A beautiful shot and made him all the more evil to look at.

Favorite line would have to be: "The Emperor does not share your optimistic appraisal of the situation." - I find myself using that line in certain situations in my life.

 

"If this a consular ship, where is the ambassador?"

This was a great initial introduction to the villianous character, pretty horrific if you ask me!

 

"I find your lack of faith disturbing."

 

Other.

"I have you now."

followed by...

"What?"

 

I'd have to say other - I like all of Vader's scenes and just him walking down the ramp of his shuttle can give you chills thanks to the music.

Even though I would go with the majority most of the time I went with Vader over throwing the Emperor

 

Can't choose...so many great scenes!

I love the whole "the power to destroy a planet is insignificant compared to the power of the force." or did he say dark side. i need to watch the movies again me thinks.

 

I love "Obi-Wan never told you what happened to your father." What a great piece of cinematic history.

 

I loved the "father please help me" just cause Vader took his good ol' time, and that scene was amazing.

 

I like it because you can see him thinking about the situation. "Should I interfere? Should I let the kid get fried for being so kriffing stubborn?"

But in the end, he redeems himself and the circle is indeed complete...

 

Other: Vader standing in some place on Mustafar in sith cloak with hood drawn up & yellow sith eyes but with tears streaming down his face.

My favorite Vader line, which I can't believe wasn't in the poll, was when he says to Luke on Bespin "The force is with you young Skywalker...but you are not a Jedi yet." That was totally off the ******* hook!

 

You don't know the power of the dark side.

 

You dont know the power of the darkside. This scene is my favourite of the saga. Its the closest thing to a father son talk Luke and Vader get before he dies.
