Thanks to VadersLaMent for the suggestion.
Other - I like the mix of an evil genius and charming fiend.
Other - I prefer a combination of Tyrant, Sadist, and Schemer.
If you mix Evil Genius,Charming Fiend and Sadist you have the perfect villian
Charming fiend with a backbone of evil. Some of the best villains have played this archetype for sure.
Charming Fiend, with a bit of schemer thrown in . . . you've got to have a brilliant villain, who is a bit of an anti-hero himself.
Even though my fav is Vader, and he is more of a tyrant with some Charming Fiend thrown in, I have to go with the Fiend. Sidious, Pinhead, Hannibal, those are good examples even though they have elements of other archetypes mixed in.
My favorite Villian is Hannibal Lecter, no question. He's calm, cool, collected, a genius, and he broke Starling in less than a week.
The ultimate villian, and the representative of an archetype.
Charming fiend... Just like Palpy. He was so charming
There's something loveable, even attractive, in regards to characters like these.
It depends on the hero.
If the hero is female, then I like Lunatic or Evil Genius villains.
If the hero is male and not particularly hot, then I like Tyrant or Evil Genius villains.
If the hero is male and hot, then I like a Sadist/Evil Genius combo.
So I'm voting Evil Genius, although it depends.
All those great qualities compiled.
Sadists are the only ones that can send chills down my spine.
Charming Fiend, Evil Genius, Schemer
Charming's the main thing, so I agree with most of the people here.
Charming fiend & tyrant.
Charming Fiend + Schemer + Tyrant = Palpatine
definitely evil genius
I'd have to vote Schemer.
