What is your favourite cartoon series?

Bah, I stopped watching cartoons a while ago. I used to like Pokemon till I realized how stupid it was. The only really good cartoon that I've ever seen is X-men. I dunno why, but I really liked them. And I loved the movie. When I was 12, the X-men were my heroes. They and SW were my life. But that kinda wore off after a while.

 

The Simpsons is the reason I still own a TV

 

What I can't stand is the fact that if I'm up early Saturday morning there's no freakin cartoons on at all. Who wants to watch the news that early in the morning? I can remember getting up at around 6 or so and watch shows non-stop until 10 or 11.

Oh, 70-80's cartoons ruled...but noting tops the old Looney Toons & Merrie Melodies cartoons.

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe!

I second He-Man! Though obviously *ahem* I don't watch it anymore *ahem*, I used to worship that cartoon!

Also 80's because of Defenders of the Earth, Transformers and Thundercats.

 

Currently Futurama, although overall The Simpsons is the greatest TV show ever.

I LOVE the old Nickelodeon cartoon "Doug". I wish I could live in that cartoon world...

Anime makes other animation look like amateur drivel.

 

Anime nut, though I used to watch the XMTAS (the old X-men cartoon). Most cartoons are drek today. Thank heavens for the Cartoon channel (though some of their newer ones are just yuck). And I do love Pinky and the Brain, Animaniacs, and Batman Beyond.

 

Anyone ever heard of Danger Mouse? That's my favorite.

DANGER MOUSE!!! I completely forgot about that one....that was a great cartoon.

my son and i watch cartoon every saturday morning no matter what....i make sure that my sat events do not start until after my cartoons are over.

if i need a fix during the week when i get home i put the tv on and there is batman beyond and pokemon....going strong.

this is the one thing that i remember the most about sat was the cartoons in the morning....i hope that my son remembers all the sat mornings that we watched all these excellent cartoons.
