What is your favourite cartoon series?

I voted for Anime. I'm a pretty new otaku, but I really like what I've seen so far. This may be slightly off-topic, but did anybody else here go to JAFAX?

I voted other. The cartoons today are pretty bad, except for spongebob square pants. but about ten years ago there was the great disney afternoon which had all the greats. Ducktales, Darkwing Duck, Chip 'n Dale, Tailspin, Bonkers. I watched it until quack pack and the other lousy cartoons came on. And I still know the theme songs

 

I watch pretty much every single thing on that list, but I do have my favorites:

Futurama, The Simpsons, Batman, Pokemon [stfu!]...

Futurama over The Simpsons because: Robust fresh characters, more plots, and Bender.

 

I voted 70's and 80's becuase they just don't have cartoons like that anymore. I also love some of the others mentioned here like Dexter's Lab, Pinky and the Brain, and Doug. I had forgotten about Doug. I downloaded "Killer Tofu" the other day, and burned it onto a CD.

 

Other than already liking Doug, I'm kinda getting into Hey Arnold. It's a cool little cartoon.

In the 80s/early 90s (I forget), I watched a lot of the Nick Jr. cartoons. For example, Little Koala, Pinky & Blinky, David the Gnome, Grimm's Fairy Tales... Man, Nickelodeon should bring back those wonderful, simplier cartoons. I miss them.

Simpsons, Futurama. Yup, those a great. Too funny.
I also watch Pinky and the Brain. I know, I need to grow up but it's addicting!

 

I like Simpsons, Batman, Superman, Batman Beyond, Justice Leauge, Thundercats, Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, Transformers and Masters of the Universe. Spider-man (95-98), Hulk (97-98), X-men (92-97) and ('00-)

I like the simpsons but i put my vote down for Japanese aminamtion cause it kicks butt and i watch it more then the simpsons anyways!

I voted to anime cuz it rocks! But, I like all the cartoons that AurraMouse wrote. I used to watch those ones all the time. And Pinky and the Brain, and freakazoid, and Mighty Ducks, and Animaniancs, and Loonytoons, and a whole bunch of other ones that I used to watch that either aren't on anymore, or I just don't know when they're on. Well that's all I have to say.

You can mention Voltron but not Robotech or Gundam Wing? Oi vei.

 

Neon Genesis Evangelion, the most psychotropic, disturbing, and though-provoking anime ever made.

 

Anime's been my most recent animation experience. Cowboy Bebop rocks!

Simpsons would be my favorite, but it's been too long since I've seen an episode...never home when it's on.

 

Nobody mentioned DBZ.

 

The Simpsons, though Futurama wins if we only look at episodes from the past couple of seasons.

 

Transformers man was the best ever cartoon man and i was born after it came out man thats how popular it is man.

 

i voted for the simpsons, but my absolute fav is Family Guy. I dont watch it much any more, but it made me laugh so hard i'd practically start crying.

 

My current favorites are Batman and Batman Beyond, Dexter's Lab, and the Powerpuff Girls has some good tongue in cheek humor (enough to keep us "adults" watching! )

From the 80's it had to be Transformers and G.I. Joe. And all pre-70's Looney Tunes. Absolutely hilarious!
