Civ II rocks. Just like Jade Skyhiker I've played the game for the past 5 years or so. My CD is so scratched up from use that I usually play it off the harddrive.
Test of time is just weird... I didn't like the graphics. And Call to Power is just impossibly hard.

eep! Hathor, holy crap you're here! :D

    welcome back...

And I've only played Civ II twice with the CD. First time i played it my brother *cough* borrowed *cough* the CD. First time i've ever watched someone play for hours too.

I finally bought the thing tho, just to finally see the movies play in game :D

AA, more than 8 hours in a game is nothing lol. I've done more than that with Civ II and played it a heck of a lot more.

Funny thing is, Civ III will only be sp as well and I'm still loathe to replace my Civ II habits hehe.

Other games which are my favs, but has gotten considerably less attention lately, with reasons why they arent the best best best (unlike Civ II which I have played every single year since the first time I played):
-JK/MotS (can't play mp cos it's DirectPlay. otherwise, I've played it far too many times already, including with mods)
-Deus Ex (puter too slow, even with lowest settings)
-Half-life (havent finished Blue-shift and OF cos I got bored and comp dies in game. CS fever gets erratic. But now that yourmom's house is back and running... hmmm...)
    -Unreal Tournament (puter too slow)

the rest i can't remember offhand, so i guess if I dont remember, they shouldnt be on teh list ;)

I just noticed something game reviews Lechuck's Revenge. And now I have a question about the Monkey Madness CD of 1997.
Acoording to game reviews, Lechuck's Revenge has 2 diffuculty setting you can choose from
(easy and hard). On the Monkey Madness CD it does not let you choose the difficulty setting. So does anyone know if the difficulty settings for Lechuck's Revenge on the Monkey Madness CD default to hard or easy? Please help me!

I bought a big box containing 3 CDs, one with the first two games in Win95 format, the second two had the third game. The second game played in the difficult mode by default. It might have been called MOnkey Island Madness; in fact, I think it was.

I take back what I said about Monkey Island. I just got the monkey island games this last week. At first it was great. Then I ran into the fortune telling and tarrot stuff in it. I tried playing Lechuck's revenge and Curse but they had the fortune telling and tarrot stuff too. In the end all of the games had the evil stuff. If it wasn't for those things I would still play the games. I now despise all the Monkey Island games. I'll never play any of them again. Unless there's another sequel made that doesn't have all of that evil.

Yes, I'm serious. What's even worse is that the first 3 are rated by the ESRB as "everyone". I didn't expect games rated "everyone" to have that kind of stuff. I have said all of this just so people that know I don't like the Monkey Island games. If anyone reading this post is trying to decide whether to by the Monkey Island games, make your own decision about buying the games, but be advised that there are fortune tellers and tarrot cards in the game.

Dark sith alf scares me. "EVIL?"
This is not offensive to anyone (At least its not meant to be) but are you american by any chance. (I heard they banned Harry Potter and stuff in some states because of "EVIL" things in that)

Well, DSA I recall thinks Harry Potter is evil too. It's his belief that any sort of mention of sorcery or witchcraft is evil, and of course, that is his right.

What I find odd is that there's a lot of killing and sorcery, magic and evil in "Star Wars", and DSA seems to have no problem with that.
