Dark Side of the Moon - One of my favorite "comfort" albums. Wish You Were Here is a close second.

For me, it's a draw between Animals, Dark Side and The Wall. I decided to vote for Wall since I love the disturbing imagery and rock opera vibe it gives.

    DSOTM.

Though The Wall, WYWH, Animals and The Final Cut are all great. I like the Waters-less AMLOR and The Division Bell a lot too.

Wish You Were Here: Captured the four Floyds at the height of their powers before Wright started to fade as a musician and Waters and Gilmour allowed their differing musical philosophies to drive each other apart.

"Shine on..." is towering, epic and perfect. I read that Syd Barrett himself wandered into the studio as they were mixing the track. They hadn't seen the guy in years and he just shows up out of the blue on the day they were working on their tribute to him. Crazy, man.

No love for "Piper at the Gates of Dawn"? I guess it hasn't aged well, but I still enjoy it, at least as much as the Wall or Final Cut.

I can't remember which one I voted for but it was either The Wall or Wish You Were Here. Those are both absolutely amazing.
