    i have win 98 on my comp but i will be getting XP Pro soon. and i use ME on my mothers but i hate ME.

    saw and used XP (both, I think. or only Pro) only now and again and found it ok.

    But when I get a new PC I put both 98 and XP on it - if that's still possible ;)

    Win 98.. XP doesnt run DOS games as well, and I hafta play all my old games from the early ninetys.

    Windows XP (pro or personal) rocks except that for some reason in XP you can't invite people to netmeeting over MSN. Just whiteboard. Who the hell uses whiteboard?? :mad:

    Definitely 3.1, because it was only a extra burden for the machine, that used DOS 6.22!
    I've always hated windows.

    XP Home Edition. I haven't tried XP Pro yet, but for now HE works wonderfully for me.

    Windows 98; it doesn't have the weird requirements that XP has, and fewer bugs, it seems.

    Take the "P" out of the "XP" and put "OS" in front and you've got OSX.
