well.... it's a lot of work.. but i LOVE it... so far.
you have to hand wring the laundered items between the washing and rinsing, and then before the spin dry - which is highly effective.
i have it set up where the washing faucets are (in my apartment,) and i bought a washing machine hose to (half) fill the washer tank (at first, i will filling pots of water - took forever.) i have the drain hose going right into the washer drain. i use only a few drops of liquid detergent, because it goes a long way. i have a drying rack.
i am going to get some mesh laundry bags for the things that tend to bulk up and wrap around stuff, like jeans, and towels - because i have noticed they interfere with the churning mechanism at the bottom of the washer tank...

i am sort of wishing i had chosen the larger model... but mostly because i am playing catch-up with the laundry... however, i am impressed with the unit i have (XPB36 - the smaller of the two in the photo - which i grabbed online for reference) and i think, once i am caught up, it will be easy to manage smaller, daily loads, or every other day depending...
