Perverse psychedelic anime: Belladonna of Sadness (1973). If the trippy and colorful Bakshi-like artwork and supernatural elements weren't involved, I wouldn't go near this. And replaced another decent giallo, The Bloodstained Butterlfy. I remember really liking this. Nice to see an American release. I hope Arrow put more of their giallo releases up on iTunes so I can pick them up cheaper. This one is worth having on disc though.

 

TrakNar hey.. so, totally random update on my Panda compact washer/spin dryer purchase...

i have TOTALLY simplified the process.. remember i had said it was a lot of work.. 'cause of the hand-wringing.. well, i stopped doing that part, because it was absolutely unnecessary ... yeah, i over complicated it..

it is really a great little washer, and the spin dryer is incredible.. word of advice, if you get it, don't forget to get a drying rack!
my only regret is not getting the bigger model - even after catching up on all the laundry... the size i bought would be great for one or 2 people, but there's me and my 16yo and my 7 yo ... and they go through clothes like mad. and towels.. so many towels.

and several spoons have disappeared. unrelated, of course. i hope.

Roku TV, finally joined the 20st century. So far I love it, even though the antenna I bought for local TV doesn't seem to work all the well. I have to keep fiddling with it to get it to come in. Fortunately I mostly watch Netflix, Hulu and HBO. I love being able to rent movies digitally though. Good by DVDs

 

Comic books. It would have only been $40 but I needed backing boards.

 

A ****ton of movies.

 

Chili cheese fries with sour cream. Fountain soda. Shrimp salad on rye w/ chips & a bran muffin. seems a lot but the chips & muffin is 4 tomorrow.

I was all set to buy another two tops, a hooded denim jacket and a scarf from Free People, but I snoozed and the two tops sold out in the midst of my shopping. The vultures descend on their sales pages. That said, the hooded denim jacket and scarf were the most important items anyway. So nothing happens by accident.
