My fave part is the cut scene of Yarna seducing Oola and Leia when they arrive for their jobs as Jabba's slave girls.

StarScream, I really dunno if you're actually a sock or not. But, let's say you aren't for the sake of argument. You just have to realize that the Fan-Force boards are usually pretty heavy on the "community" aspect. Everyone's welcome to join the community, but at the same time we ask that you sort of figure out how we work before jumping in full-throttle.

Also, we (virtually) beat the crap out of anyone who walks in the door to see what kind of mettle they show. Some don't make to the end of the gauntlet, but those who do get invited to CF parties to drink Guiness with Goat and eat that salad stuff that Heather brings.

Either way, you're wrong about all of us being pathetic losers, except for the Penguin. He lowers the bar and the average IQ for all of us.

    Bosh

i think this is when someone insults his religious beliefs and he deletes all his posts.

He hasn't made note of any religious beliefs but I'm ready when he does.

My favorite SW moment was Rabid Wolverine posting on the boards. Second would be when Kabe orders another drink at the Cantina. Who doesn't love a Chadra-Fan?

I think that warning is a little too late. I'm sure he (I am assuming he is a he) has been to the doctor's office a few times this past week.

One of my faves is when Luke is looking out to the twin suns set on Tatooine in A New Hope. I just love the feeling--the music--it has a lot behind it. The scene is beautiful with the lighting. and...and a part of me just misses the sunsets in Arizona I guess...

Okay, another--when Obi-Wan is chasing Jango/Boba in the asteroid belt in AOTC. Those seismic charges are awesome!!! I think it's just the cool sound they make...

hmmmm--might have to disagree---Anakin with the longer hair and black leather--once he turned bad-boy, he was pretty hot!;) *but that's just me...*

Well, another powerful scene I thought was when Darth Vader (not in outfit yet) was leading the storm (or clone) troopers to the Jedi Temple...

    The scene:
A classic duel between father and son. The son, victorious, stands ready to finish the monster his father has become. Encouraged by the Emperor, he realizes that to strike the final blow would be to sway the galaxy forever to the dark side. He relinquishes his weapon, the camera comes in close, and we hear,
"I'm a Jedi, like my father before me."

Maybe I'm just a geek, but I think that very moment is the coolest in not only Star Wars, but the history of cinema.

    Ooooh, I AM a geek. . .

Yes, Malakilli, that was a good one! The fate of the galaxy on his shoulders...

Oh, how could I forget the Darth Maul/Obi-Wan/Qui-Gon fight scene? Just watching Darth Maul with the twin-blade lightsaber...well, also I guess it's because it's the first time one was shown on screen.

I'm down with Malakiili. People diss RotJ because of Ewoks and the unorigianality of a 2nd Death Star, but honestly that moment brings the entire movie to a far superior level FAR ABOVE RotS (or any other prequel). The OT stands solidly superior to the Prequels for those very reasons. Any OT fan who tries to put RotS above RotJ should be ashamed of themselves.

My favorite moment, if I had to choose only one, was the triple escape out of the second Death Star as the explosion builds up.

    Luke, Wedge, Lando.

....or was it Wedge, Luke, Lando? I love the moment, but I forget the specific order. ;)

    Lemon sours, anyone?

i'm ashamed of myself too. RotS narrowly edges out ROTJ in my mental lineup...

you have MANY cool moments in ROTJ and the finale is indeed epic and grand and wonderful.

but then you have a bored harrison ford sleepwalking his way through the flick, a pretty interminable middle section with lots of pretty boring talking, and leia's evaporation into a worthless supporting character whose biggest problem seems to be convincing her man that she loves him.
