    Official "Tideland" website.

Boogie edit: If it hasn't been reinforced enough already: VIPs may NOT create polls without my permission. I usually give leeway for once-off cases, but let this be a lesson. This poll will NOT be re-opened.

LOL, only you could have started this poll mar. :p

But I saw over a month ago and it was okay. I think a lot of people will be reminded by Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas and although this movie wasnt as good as that one it was still pretty cool.

How can someone compare it with Fear and Loathing? Sure, there are drugs in it, too, but it's about something totally different. It's about a little girl's imaginative world. I was fascinated and enchanted by it, especially the first part, where Jeliza-Rose (BTW, that's a very strange and nice name, Jeliza-Rose) discovers their new home and the land around it. Granted, the parts with her father's dead body were a bit gross, but that was pretty much the only negative feeling I had towards it. It was strange, a bit melancholic, moody, imaginative, weird... in other words, pure Gilliam. ;) Much better than the hollywoodish Brothers Grimm. And the girl who played Jeliza-Rose was absolutely fabulous, so confident, so natural, so cute and interesting.

The little kid was great, she provided a very nice innocent contrast to the corpse and other parts of the movie.
