(Actually, my top 5 would all be Beatles' Albums, but I only put one and chose four other albums I really enjoy)

    The Beatles ? Sergeant Pepper
    U2 ? Joshua Tree
    Green Day ? American Idiot
Outkast ? Speakerboxxx / The Love Below
Kid Rock ? Devil Without A Cause

...I'd so reply to this, only... It's very likely that the majority of my list, if not all of it, would not be in English.

    Sigh.

Much thanks for the Darth Vader like.....NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOO:cool:

    just thought of another one,

    do......greatest hits albums count?????

anyway, am having trouble on this one, but a fun thing to think about.

For now, I will say there should be at least one Beatle's album
on my list, and at least one Beach Boys, but the ones I am
thinking of are not stand alone albums, but rather
    re-issued compliations.

and so, I do not think I ever purchased an album, but just
bought many songs.....or, my era had a lot of 45-s,

and of course all those strange kinds of albums I previously menitoned.

am currently enjoyng the soundtrack to the FANFILM called

    Done The Impossible,

    about Serenity/Firefly fans.....

    which leads
me to ask if there are any BrownCoats on these boards.

Why on Earth should soundtracks/scores NOT count? A lot of them are often referred to as Soundtrack Albums or Score Albums?

I don't think that's fair! (Stomps feet, juts out lower lip, stalks off to corner to sulk)...

But, if I have to play by the rules...I'll say...

    5. Purple Rain - Prince
    4. Rockin' the Suburbs - Ben Folds
    3. Ray of Light - Madonna
    2. Revolver - The Beatles
    1. Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - The Beatles

You are now free to stare at my list incredulously and wonder what's wrong with me.

Oh boy, this is too hard. I'll just list five favorites off the top of my head:

    1. Abbey Road - The Beatles
    2. Californication - Red Hot Chili Peppers
    3. Nevermind - Nirvana
    4. Giant Steps - John Coltrane
    5. Garden State Soundtrack - (Various)

That's a diminutive sample of the various melodies I liken to. :-B

    ....and......GREAT thread idea Eric:)

and so a quick sorry to hi-jack this thread for a moment,
and say, those who raised your "browncoat" hand,
    please check out this link,

    http://www.donetheimpossible.com/

and/or...you just have to find a way to see this,
and especially the interactive time-line on the DVD extra section.

Will get back on topic later tonight I hope with an attempt
at five sound tracks, but I am sure that Pink Flyod's ___THE WALL,
    will be on the list.
