What it have been cooler to see Darth Vader slash plaps with a light saber in ROTJ?

    In ROTJ, Anakin just picks up the emporer and throws him over than bottmeless reactor core. It would have been cooler if Vader took out his light saber and cut the emporer in half. It seems like that would be easier and more effective.

    I think Vader lost his lightsaber when Luke whacked his hand off.

    The only lightsaber Vader could of done that with is Luke's lightsaber that is on the ground by him.Because Vader lost his saber along with his arm when Luke cut it off.

    If Luke's saber was red,I would say it would of been cool to see Vader have a duel with Sidious with it.

    Nope. Vader picking up and throwing the Emperor is far more powerful. It's a great image that encapsulates his final rejection of the dark side.

    Slashing with a saber wouldn't have that same metaphorical quality.
