What Jedi are in the Maw with the students?

Was it mentioned who was there? I assume someone is there teaching them.

 

I think only Kam Solusar and Tionne are teaching the kids at the Maw. Oh yeah, Streen might be there too.

 

Possibly Kyle Katarn? Since he was last said to be training Jedi at the academy during the NJO.

 

Kirana Ti might also be there. She is in EU imbo currently.

Also, I believe that Streen was mentioned being on Mon Cal in one of the FH books.

 

Are you talking about before or after SbS?

i thought the whole point of putting them in the Maw was so that they could minimize the amount of resources they would have to dedicate to protecting them. it's kind of like "OK, you found them. have fun navigating through the black holes to get to them..."

 

I'd agree with snarf on this one, about 2-3 dozen students there. As far as actual Knights/Masters, I've got nothing to add to the current list.

 

Understandable, but if there are 2-3 dozen, and only about 3-5 instructers, it might be a lot for them to handle, with the whole war going on, they should probably be worried that the students might go dark, or slip a little bit.

 

Isn't it mostly just little children there? Are Valin and all the other kids from the JJK series there, other then Tahiri? And If there's only about 30 students there, to 2-3 instructors, then it's still about the same ratio Luke had when he trained the first Jedi trainees.

 

Most of the children are probably around the age of the Bear Clan we see in AotC. And the Bear Clan looked to be about a dozen strong when we see Yoda training them. Two to three dozen in the Maw would not be that big a deal for two to three instructors. Merely break them up into clans and assign the clans certain training periods.

 

Yeah, well considering that Luke had to deal with adults in his first class and not children it could be a little different. Im sure it takes two people to keep Ben from going out and saving the galaxy as a toddler anyways so Id say one other person is there to teach.

I have heard people talk about Kyle but i don't seem to remember him being mentioned. Do you remember where you saw this?

 

One of the Insider issues, and NEGTC, and maybe a couple of other places.

 

I wouldn't be suprised if he was there. I hope we get to see the maw again in one of the last 2 books so we get a feel for the hope for the jedi.
