    Wolf pack of one.

Don't even try to claim that we're in the same wolf pack, or that we're somehow a tribe. We're not. I'm not one of you.

I did, and the result was not "Arch-Royalist" so I think the quiz is broken.

The best bits of these is the Americans who respond and get well 'appy that they score favourably:

let's understand this Tracy. Please tell me what answers you gave, and i'll give you the correct one.

Q2: The hairdresser holds up their mirror, you hate your new haircut. What do you do?

Correct answer is "tell them it's 'great' and go get it fixed".

    3. You're introduced to a new colleague but don't quite catch their name. How do you react?

Avoid using it at all costs. Call them "mate" etc.

    5. You wave at a friend in the street but then realise it wasn't them. Do you...

Replay the moment over and over again in your mind.

    7. Someone knocks into you at the bar and spills their beer on you. You...

    Say sorry.

    10. You're sat in the window seat of a plane and need the loo, but the person in the aisle seat is asleep. What do you do?

Either cough louder and louder til they wake up, or preferably risk lasting internal damage by refusing to say anything.

    11. You've started to bump into a new colleague on the train to work every morning. So you...

Change your commute. Though arriving half an hour early at work is also acceptable.

    2. Politely ask them if they could maybe make it more like you had in mind.

    3. That was my answer.

    5. Laugh it off, it's happened to everyone.

    7. Try to make a joke out of it, become their friend. (I'm a damn lush, I can't keep apologizing, right?)

    10. Try to squeeze past them without waking them up.

    11. Ignore them forever.

Now, see, I picked most of those and still got identified as American. I think it's all the crappy coffee I drink.

but.. if you ignore them, it's rude! It's much more polite to avoid conflict or discomfort by completely inconveniencing yourself.

OK follow up question. You're riding the bus and accidentally signal it to stop about 1km - or 0.6 miles - from your home.

    Do you :

    1) Apologise to the driver and continue your journey, or
    2) Get off and walk?

Worse, this paltry excuse for a quiz called me "counterculture."

I mean really. Might as well just go all the way and say Jacobin.

Eh. Not really. I am in no way "Bro", nor do I have a "man cave". In fact, whenever I see the phrase "man cave", I kind of want to throw up.

I was going to make some snide point about the quiz results being hollow, nuance lacking, and arbitrary, but then I realized that's exactly what a Critical Counterculturalist would do and now I realize that I am trapped by the very archetypes the quiz has imposed upon me and can only conform or rebel against them thereby rendering real liberation and change impossible I am forced to confront the omnipresence of power and power is everywhere: not that it engulfs everything, but that it comes from everywhere send help.
