I come out being drip coffee no matter how I try to tweak my answers and still remain honest. If I must be drip coffee, then I insist on being Starbucks Drip Coffee, Jamaica Blue Mountain.

I hate coffee... and I'm drip coffee, argueably the worst tasting... though that's pretty much all I've ever had so... go figure.

 

......Talon do you mean you're Starbucks drip coffee OR Jamaica Blue Mountian.....because as far as i know Starbucks had never sold Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee.... i read your post and my little starbucks inaccuracy alarm went off.... i hate that dang thing....

So far you are the only espresso, Jaded.... I'm a french press coffee..... yum.... if you're going to drink black coffee, french press is the only way to go......

I know no one will believe this, but, I don't recall ever having had French Press...

Ummm yeah, if you remotely like drip coffee at all then French Press is like a dream in a cup. French Press espresso is a beautiful thing if you need to wake up quickly too.

Turkish coffee...ummmm...I don't think that I have. Jamacian coffee is pretty awsome though.

I can make a french press for you Jaded...... we'll go to my store one day and i'll make one.....

 

During my stint at Starbucks I was considered one of the best with pairing foods and pastries with different french press coffees. French press just allows the water to soak the beans directly so you can extract all the flavor oils from the beans wihtout any stupid filter getting in the way. If you are a coffee drinker then its a must, in fact after trying it for the first time, I bought french press mugs so I could make every cup of coffee that way directly into my cup. The only downside is you can get a few of the grounds in the coffee if the press isn't set just right. Man stuff like this makes me miss working there. Me and coffee were meant to be together...

BTW: Some french press arabian mocha sanani with a berry coffecake or berry cobbler is the best thing you can do for yourself.

 

You need to go have some authentic middle eastern food (rich in garlic, and make sure to have cous cous). Then sit back and have yourself some Turkish Coffee.

If you eat the food with arms dealers with thick arab accents who reminisce about places they've eaten good food, it really rounds out the experience. You all should try that at least once.
