Full Series What loose ends do you want tied up from TCW

I only expect to see her in Maul related media, and I doubt he'll be in Rebels. She'll hopefully be in a spin-off Maul movie.

As for the other characters, I think Filoni is definitely using Rebels to tie up many characters we were expecting to see more of in CW.

So it's wrap up inception.

 

Until we get the Coruscant arc anything we learn is fair game imo.

 

Although I expect to get a lot of references from Rex and Ahsoka about Arcs that were Cancelled.

 

I want Darth Maul to be simply killed off officially in the canon and that arch be concluded very soon.

It would nice to see in the aftermath of the Clone Wars how the Chancellor legally justified the extermination of the entire Jedi Order through Order 66 and why the majority of the Senate seemingly believed that a massive Jedi conspiracy and rebellion occurred to overthrow the state. How the apparent assassination attempt of the Chancellor by a few members of the Jedi Council justify the killing of thousands of other knights? Why does no look into this matter?

 

Because they would die.

 

Pretty much this. I think they handled Maul's return quite well and he has been an very effective (and especially evil) villain in TCW, but it's been starting to feel like they are dragging out his storyline too much and he's pretty much overstayed his welcome by now so I'd be glad if they wrapped up his tale soon; make his finale an epic two-parter in which they bring back Obi-Wan to face off with his old archenemy would be perfect.

 

Son of Dathomir, epic though some of the scenes were (Maul vs. Mace, Maul and Dooku teaming up, Maul and Talzin vs. Dooku, Sidious and Grievous!), most of the story felt like it was just passing the time for the Season 8 arc.

Other than Maul's escape, the death of Talzin and the abandonment of Black Sun and the Pykes, the status quo is mostly the same as it was at the start of the arc. All the important stuff seems like it would have ocurred in Season 8. That made me feel like Maul had been dragged out a bit much.

Maybe if the episodes had been fully animated they would have felt less inconsequential. However, the Maul arcs in season 4 & 5 were just perfect to me.

 

There not dragging out his story they just have not finished it yet.

 

They haven't really dragged it out yet, but as I said, it's starting to feel like that (at least to me after the Son of Dathomir story) so I'm hoping they'll finish it soon.

 

I really hope there are no more of these episodes coming out. The Clone Wars needs to fade away. If they want to animate something it's time to focus on the Post-Endor era.

 

No thanks to that idea. I'm more interested in the Clone Wars characters as they segue in to ROTS and Dark Times. Let the sequel trilogy films and spinoffs take on the post-Endor era, and I'd like to see Filoni continue to tell stories from Clone Wars to pre-ANH. Not that interested in the sequel era honestly, but I'll watch them and give them a chance as movies.

 

Thats a horrible Idea so should the OT just fade away.

It's your opinion but I say no and you know it won't.

 

There is plenty of room in the SW universe for all of these stories, sticking to one era would be boring for many fans. Diversity in the EU and other media, like the CW cartoons, is what helped the franchise remain so popular when no movies were being made. Clone Wars forever.

 

If Ventress survives Dark Disciple I want to know where she goes from there.

 

It would be cool to see how Akbar joined the rebellion and if there is any callbacks to the battle of mon calamari.

 

I want to know why most of the Empire thinks that the whole of the Jedi order tried to overthrow the Chancellor and senate. What was Palpatine's alleged plot that the Jedi were trying to do? It needs to be known.

And this means we might get a mention from a Mandalorian about maul!

really there are almost no more lose ends or major ones.

 

Barriss Offee, obviously after the recent news.

Yularen as Kallus's superior. He was ISB in the old EU.

Separatist holdouts would be interesting.

Although not in TCW Dodonna, Reiken, Mothma, Biggs, Wedge, red leader and Madine need to show up soon along with Akbar.
