What Movie are you Most Looking Forward to in 06?

V for Vendetta!!

and after that, Pirates of the Caribbean

 

Silent Hill. I'm a huge fan of the videogames, and I can't wait to see how it all plays out on screen.

As of right now, these are the movies I'm looking forward to the most:

Clerks 2
Southland Tales
and
Superman Returns

 

X3, but only just, over Superman.

Followed by The DaVinci Code, a bit behind the other two.

Haven't heard alot on PotC2 down here in Australia. (Could be just me with work and all. )

 

X3 mostly. Then Superman and Pirates.

 

I decided to choose other, their is no more Star Wars movies to look forward, so I could just about take or leave anything!

 

What about V For Vendetta? That's what I'm looking forward to, and not just to see how hot a bald Natalie Portman can really be.

 

pirates most definitely... no question. the first was great, and this one looks to be at least as good.

x3 is second though. probably be the only two i see all year now that i think about it.

I know I should know better, but I can't resist.

I'm also excited about Southland Tales. Mostly because of Sarah Michelle Gellar and the fact that Donnie Darko is supposed to be good.

I'm really jazzed about that and Cars (which is a close second) b/c unlike the rest of the stuff on that list, they're both the most original. I know, I know, POTC is a sequel but so far I don't have a clue as to the storyline and I don't intend to know anything. I've been closing my eyes during previews, etc... I'm not spoiling myself for any damn thing anymore.

And Cars looks just amazing.

 

PotC2. Though it would be X3 if not for a few spoilers. These spoilers refer to things I do not want to see happen. And they don't take place near water AFAIK, just to clear that up.

Besides that, Da Vinci Code was a pretty bad book but should make an entertaining movie. It never really wanted to be a book to begin with. Superman Returns does little for me, as I don't like Superman.

I'm looking forward to Nochnoi Dozor, if it ever sees an American release. It's due in limited release in about a week I think, but after its being pushed all the way from last summer, I'll believe it when I see it.

Definitely Pirates of the Caribbean! Johnny Depp was hysterical in the first one.

 

X3, then PotC, then Superman.

I am not sure. I know Joss Whedon has a film called Goners coming out in 2006, which next to nothing is known about, but it's Joss Whedon, so I'm going to assume it's awesome.

Also, Richard Kelly's (writer/director of Donnie Darko) second film is coming out this year, which I am very much looking forward to, considering Darko is one of my favorite films.

 

I picked other because I could not decide between X3, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Superman Returns.
