For all the Original Soundtracks I had as mp3's I've deleted them off my computer and eventually this year sometime I plan on re-buying them all plus adding some new editions to the collection. So after that this is what I have as far as soundtracks collection goes...

The ones that are true ligit CD's are the Star Wars ones, Man From Snowy River & Return To Snowy River, Home Alone, Star Trek Generations, Star Trek Volume 2 Varese Sarabande and that is about it. The Complete/Expanded scores are mp3's and have good quality sound and are sfx unless other wise noted.

May 2nd is the supposed released for the ROTS soundtrack. Which is understandable, since the OST's for TPM and AOTC was released 2 weeks before the film's released.

I've got all three LOTR soundtracks, Harry Potter 3, and some others. Not getting any Star Wars soundtracks until a complete box set of sorts comes up, if it comes out at all. *sighs*

Oh... and I have the Spirited Away soundtrack by Joe Hisaishi, which is really nice, and really different since it's so Japanese (of course).

I just recently purchased the first two CDs I've bought in at least five years. They are:

    The Manchurian Candidate
Contains both the original and the re-make score. I loved the music in the remake movie, but it doesn't really stand alone. The last few tracks are pretty good, but nothing spectacular. The first half of the score is just filler, really. The originals music is just jazz, and not very good jazz. I really can't picture a movie happenign to that score. Maybe it has to grow on you.

    Batman
I finally found the non-Prince score, and I've got to say that it's excellent. I'm not a huge fan of Elfman, and the Spiderman scores have been really standard superhero fare. But Batman is dark, brooding, and exciting all at the sam etime, as well as a little zany for scenes with the Joker. So far, the Batman score is at the top of my lists of favorites.

Also got myself a buttload of Final Fantasy game soundtracks (FFIV, FFVIII, FFIX, FFX, FFX-2, FFXI and FF Symphonic Suite). Nobuo Uematsu is a musical GOD!

Does anyone know where I can get copies of Raiders of the Lost Arc or the Temple of Doom? I would rather not go through Ebay, but if that's the only choice then so be it.

Mastadge - I noticed you had Gabriel Yared's Troy score on your list. Is this avaliable, or do you just have his preview tracks? I wouldn't mind having it, from the previews it sounded very good. :)

    There's a copy of Raiders for $40 at Half.com

Otherwise Ebay is your best bet. I've never had bad transaction there, just check the seller's feedback before bidding and generally demonstrate common sense. :D

Hopefully Indy IV will come out next year and full score releases will follow.

Your collection is pretty nice actually, although a bit skewed towards the 1990's. :)

Two additions for me (when it rains, it pours.. :D)

    Rosenman, Leonard
    The Lord Of The Rings

Very different from Shore, but a good listen all the same. (and lots of the Blaster Beam!)

    Korngold, Erich Wolfgang
The Sea Hawk (The Classic Filmscores Of E.W. Korngold) Conducted By Charles Gerhardt

If you like the Star Wars scores, get this, terrific recording of music from JW's forerunner. Great stuff.
