Wonderful taste. Sweeney Todd was undoubtedly my favorite score in a few years.

Love Weird Al, but not a big fan of that one.
Perhaps its because I'm not familiar with the music being parodied. I'm old. :(

I'm not really into any of the music that it parodies either. I know only one of the pariodied songs, and I hate it. Still, it's a great CD.

In the SCA and, I think, at RenFaires they are very into song parodies. They call them "Filks" and there's even a website devoted to them.

My favorite is the Mongolian Birthday Song sung to the tune of Volga Boatmen.

Awesome choice, MZ! I think I like the LOTR CD's (not the music itself, but the actual CD's) better than the Star Wars CD's. Music wise, I think I love them both the same.

I just bought the new Flogging Mollys CD on Amazon, but I havent'gotten it, yet.

Been editing a music video so Ignus Fatuus by Autumn Tragedy most of the day.

On the mainstream, Heroes of Our Time by Dragonforce, god what a killer video! The guitar solos there are completely absurd too, unbelievably cool.
