I'm listening to Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley.

Definately the best song I have ever had the pleasure of listening to :)

But can someone asnwere me this question?
I know Hallelujah means 'Praise Jah (jehovah)' and by the opening lyrics its obviously a kinda of religous song, so when the line:
she tied you to her kitchen chair, she broke your throne and she cut your hair
is said is Buckley referring to Samson from the bible?

I'm pretty sure it's a cover and not originally Buckleys, but I might be wrong.

I agree it's a beautiful song, but I'm not sure it is entirely religious, as more a celebration of humanity and life universally.

Oh, and currently listening to Aphex Twin's "Tetris".

On my winamp playlist right now....

    Glenn Miller
    Bruce Springsteen
    Cyndi Lauper
    Dire Straits
    Frank Sinatra
    Aerosmith
    more Glenn Miller
    still more Glenn Miller
    The Kinks
    Pam Tillis
    Phil Collins

It's an eclectic assortment, but there is definitely a pattern to the madness. Which reminds me, I have to add some to that bunch.....
