Clubbed to Death, Clubbed to Death 2 and Chateau: all by Rob D

I know the clubbed to death ones sound really gross, but they're the most beautiful mixes of orchestra and electric/'modern' music I've ever heard. It?s so well done. Just really beautiful. :)

Cool! You know what I'm talking about, Hawk...few do, so I'm surprised. ;)
Hey, you wouldn't happen to know if there's just a straight instrumental album of Rob D's stuff, would you?

Bec: not to the best of my knowledge, but to be perfectly honest I haven't looked. Doing an online search for it would be your best bet, methinks.

Byzantium (Golden City) from Byzantium - The Book of Kells & St. Aidna's Journey, music by Jeff Johnson and Brian Dunning, inspired by Stephen Lawhead's incredible book Byzantium. Stephen Lawhead is one of my very favourite authors and when I discovered Ark Music, I ordered the cd from America. I love the internet :D

It's a really excellent cd, it captures the mood of the book. I can listen to it for hours, it is a truly enjoyable experience.

Sobakasu (Freckles), the theme to Rurouni Kenshin.

The Japanese version sounds upbeat by itself, but the English version is just so sickeningly sweet, I think I'll get diabetes just listening to it. :p

I can't stop listening to it though.

Also listening to Sound Life from Trigun (for those who watch the show, it's the song Vash remembers Rem singing).

And finally, I'm listening to The Real Folk Blues, sung by Mai Yamane with the Seatbelts. It's the ending theme for Cowboy Bebop

Pfft, no other nations' shows can top anime for good soundtracks.

'Madonna does Shakespeare' by Tripod. :D God, I love those guys. Ever feeling down, and need a laugh, try listening to Tripod. Funniest band EVER!

"Then I'll break new ground: the first white female to play the role of Othello." ~Tripod [face_laugh]

Oh, and Hawk, thanks anyway. :) I've already checked on the web and there doesn't seem to be anything. Hey, that's what the matrix soundtrack is for, right? ;) Should really invest in that. Anyone have the Matrix soundtrack? Is it worth buying?

The revolutions soundtrack is better than Reloaded IMHO. worth a buy. ;) Don Davis and Juno Reactor feature heavily again.

Right now, I'm listening to Aphex Twin - Windowlicker.

Nathan, you're a true man of the good taste. Come to BDO with us. :p

I'm currently listening to "Icct Hedral", a piece created by Phillip Glass & Aphex Twin.

I'm happy because Poison The Well, Thursday and lostprophets are going to be there. Metallica will be so-so; I saw them in 1992 and 1998 already.

I'm also listening to Black Eyed Peas, but not the new album; their first two pwn Elephunk. Right now, it's Joints and Jams off Behind the Front.

"I've Got A Feeling" by The Beatles from the new "Let it Be - Naked" CD.

Listening to these songs now as they were originally recorded (totally live - minus orchestras and overdubs) just shows how great this band really were.

BDO is going to be amazing next year, line up is better then the 2002 one IMHO.

    Currently listening to:
Harry Choo Choo Romero, a bit of Rob D (clubbed to death = wow), Ben Harper, and some Ray Charles... Yeah well, my taste in music is somewhat varied.
