What new ship should there be in episode 3

Please feel free to describe a cool ship.

 

I'll go first. Maybe there'll be a T fighter in the shape of a T. That would be kinda cool.

How about a Super Deluxe Omega Fifth Edition Jedi Starfighter EX II.V?

 

Those all sound like good ideas although I'm not sure if they'll allow the Enterprise in a Star Wars movie.

The Enterprise is already in SW TPM it's one of the ships in the Coruscant traffic lanes.

I like the idea of a new bomber. I love the Tie Bomber so a new bomber sounds like a winner to me.

 

A new droid fighter perhaps, or some previously unknown bomber for the clones?

I agree that it's likely the new ship will be a fighter, and most likely a bomber.

 

Anything that represents the heavy industrialized 'republic' made by Sienar; maybe....
The bomber idea is cool; maybe even Anakin as the test pilot or something

Nothing from the EU will be used.

1) It would be cheap to use a design that already exists in another medium. This is Lucas' baby and he'll have the design team come up with fresh shpis.

2) EU has never been used as more than a very very background issue.

 

I know it's EU, but I think the headhunters would have relevance since they look like an early version of the X-Wing. It would be good for visual continuity. Much like the Jedi Starfighter and A-Wings, or Republic Cruisers and Corellian Corvettes.

 

I'm thinking prototype TIEs or VSDs (VSD, regardless of how ****ing cool it'd be, probably won't be used because it's EU). The prototype TIEs are a big possibility however, because they are such a visual symbol of the Empire. When I think of the Empire's military forces, three things come to mind: stormtroopers, Imperial Star Destroyers and TIE Fighters. Two of those have already been shown in the form of their predecessors, I'm looking forward to seeing the third in Ep3.

 

Seriously, what is the big deal with VSDs? They look to me just like a small version of SDs. Nothing thrilling, IMO
